  2. Fab looking wheels. You'll be able to sell the 17"s to make back a bit of your cash too :) Peter
  3. Hi All, I've had a problem develop today. When the car is driving slowly or stationary it has started to stall. It's done it a few times today but it doersn't happen all the time? there is next to know rough idle just the occasional fluxuation. the revs wil then drop down to almost zero then stop. Fitted an alarm yesterday so i disconnected all that as i don't believe in coincidence but it still did it so i ruled that out. My first thought is an idle air control valve. Any thoughts and ideas appreciated. Also, if it is the IAC valve, how much do these cost for Z's, where from and how easy to fit? Cheers Peter
  4. Welcome to the forum mate. Nice car :) Peter
  5. i reackon that its a bad earth. take the earth off the stereo and wire direct to the car body. should hopefully do the trick.
  6. Me neither :( That Z does look fantastic. reminds me of a Lambo with the colour and side skirts. Peter
  7. I've been through several snmart phones and i'm n ow saving for an apple iphone. do yourself a favour and wait off until you can get one. i should have just got one from the start. Peter
  8. I like white too :) Black is the other colour i like to see these cars in followed closely by red (if its vibrant enough) Really good job with the finish. White is the easiest colour to paint a car in DIY style. (Black is the hardest) Peter
  9. i'd have had your Zed inb a heartbeat mate if you hadn't lived so damn far away lol. even bought the same wheels as you had and now looking for that kind of spoiler. I'll post up some pics when i get my pc up and running properly. After 4 hours to virgin yesterday about my net connection i find that both my desktop and laptop have something wrong with them that stops them connecting to the net properly :( Peter
  10. OK guys thanks for the help. Changed the wheels over and put my new 18" alloys on and it has for some reason not only cured the balance issue but also the issue with the knocking? Really pleased about that :) Cheers Peter
  11. Got a few pics saved on the computer. was a RS special edition. Peter
  12. I had a white Camaro with that same colour interior. Must be a yank thing. Peter
  13. I own a 1991 Pontiac Trans Am, Knightrider Replica Peter

  15. I've always used MCE and they prove to be fairly resonable. http://www.mceinsurance.com/contents/contact-mce-insurance/ Peter
  16. HI Guys, My car has has a problem since i bought it with Knocking. It only happens to the left front wheel when on right hand lock? Doesn't happen at all on left hand lock. My first thought is drop links. Anyone got any other suggestions? Cheers Peter
  17. Cheers for the Advoice Trev :) Peter
  18. HI All, i recently sent Zedworld an e-mail regarding a fiberglass rear boot spoiler but have had no reply? I sent it to an e-mail from their site, is this still working? If not does anyone have a working e-mail for them? Cheers Peter
  19. So lt me get this right? The guy has a LAMBO and turns it into a mustang (at great expense)???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? NUTTER!!!!
  20. Cheers Paul, appreciate the help. Peter
  21. Quick bump to the thread hoping someone will help with the jacking point question above. My new wheels should be arriving in the next couple of days and i'd hate to jack it up in the wrong place :) Cheers Peter
  22. I have tried the Power and Hold buttons and both seem to do next to nothing except put an orange light on my dash. Back to the changing up and down from 4th to 3rd gear by relesing the Overdrive then applying it again. Taking into account what has been said in this thread, has anyone else had experience doing this that has caused there box to malfunction? Reason i ask is that i feel this is the best way to get extra overtaking accelration without the need to floor the car. Here is another really stupid question? Where are the Jacking Points? I've looked under the car and there are no real pronounced double folded or thick points that i can see? Anyone have any pics? I'm always worried about jacking up cars as i've had a few where the jacking point has completely crumbled and one that ended up with a hole in it.
  23. Yeah, i had the same problem with my car. had a cover on it and ended up having to get the wing mirrors and spoiler completely re-painted and the rest of the ca r professionally polished up by a bodyshop. You could cover the wheels with black bin liners, then at least you wont have to look at the rusty discs  Peter
  24. I personally like the Jap spec. If you don't want the ugly fog light you can get an Ultrabright red LED strip to wire in that can either sit under the bumper or under the number plate. i got 2 from China and i think they were something like £1.50 each. bargain price and will look very discreet. they are clear but then shine BRIGHT red when switched on :) Peter
