I got a set of Mille Miglia F20's & set of Toyo Proxes for £1550 Front were 8.5" (235x35x19) Rears were 9.5" (265x30x19) They look the dogs hairy bits. You can see the wheels in my ride section. Steve

Well, I've finally got round to completing my text in my ride section and can't believe what I bought since last October :eek: . To be honest, I'm afraid to total it all up :eek: . I wouldn't car, the car was totally standard when I bought her in Oct '04. Every penny I have spent has been to improve the car. Nothing has been spent due to problems/breakdowns. There, I've gone and given it the kiss of death now :headvswal SH*T

After a spin in Paul's this afternoon, I need to have a serious look at my credit card balance in the morning. Can't believe the difference. My car is like a 1.6 Primera in comparison Jealous as F**K. Still, all good things come to those who are spoilt bas****ds, I mean, those who wait. Think I'll go down the exhaust route first. If I'm still married after that, then maybe.

My understanding is that the were a factoy option on the Jap models. Mine's a series 4 and came with illuminated green rear panel and green 300ZX iluminated kick plates, both fcatory fitted. They look the *****cks Steve

Thinking of adding a triple pod to the A pillar, so have a few questions: 1. Do I get the A pillar pod to replace the OEM A pillar or do I buy one that goes over the top of existing A pillar 2. Which one is the best fit and where is the best place to get one from. 3. What are the best guages to have, ie, Boost, Oil Pressure, Oil Temp, Water Temp. Bear in mind I have a series 4 TT which do not have boost guage as standard and already has oil pressure guage inside the rev counter. I would like guages with black faces to match inside of car. Don't mind if they have chrome rings around them as I have DTA chrome rings on my existing dials. 4. Where is the best place to buy me guages. I don't want to spend hundreds on each guage, buy then again, I don't want a heap of shite neither. 5. Boost guages I have seen are either bar or PSI. Can you buy guages with both and if not, which is the best, bar or PSI. Cheers Steve

Hi mate, I work in the Paintshop at the Nissan factory in Sunderland. The material is called SGC (Stone Guard Coating). It's basically an anti chip coating. If you've sanded it down, I wouldn't think you be able to patch it up without repainting the full sill with SGC, otherwise you'll be able to see the repair easily.

I have a series 4 1996 Import and for those who didn't know, the stock boost guage was deleted from the speedo, unsure why??? I'm now looking at the possibility of adding a performance chip but think I should first get myself an after market boost guage. Thinkng about an A pillar pod but unsure where the best place to get one from. Same with the guage. Thinking about maybe a triple pod with an additional 2 guages but unsure what I should be getting (Oil pressure, Water Pump etc.). Not sure of much am I!! :hyper: I would prefer guages with black faces to match the current instrument panel. One last one, I've been told, if I upgrade the chip I should look at a boost controller and decat exhaust system for increased BHP. What is a boost controller, how much are they and what do they do. I'm currently running with original exhaust system, a Blitz SUS Induction kit, APEXi twin chamber BOV's and Injen hard piping. Cheers Steve

I'm thinking about uprating my suspension and I'm looking for advice on best set up for the 300ZX. I've got a late series 1996 (Import). I've recently added a new set of wheels Imiglia F20's. The fronts are 19x35x235 Toyo Proxes on 8.5" rims and the rears are 19x30x265 Toyo Proxes on 9.5" rims. Not sure if I'll be able to lower the car with this wheel and tyre combination. Any ideas!!! How much would I expect to pay for an upgrade and where's he best place to get them from & fitted? Cheers Steve

Hi everyone, Just to let you all know that at 4:00pm this afternon on channel 136, Men and Motors are screening a program called "Great Cars". Today it features the Z, from the Datsun 240Z right through the Z series. It's on for 30mins. I had a good look through the listings are cannot see if it's repeated anytime.
