2009 Club Calendars
Dear Members, As you all know, for the past few years, we have been selling annual Club Calendars for members and registered users to purchase. This issue was discussed in depth at our last Committee meeting in June of this year. One of the major problems in previous years was the number of calendars we managed to sell, meaning the unit cost per calendar was simply too high. We discussed the possibility of offering Subscribed Members a free calendar, using club funds instead of charging our members. This would enable us to buy in large quantities and therefore dramatically reducing the unit cost per calendar. We have decided to proceed with this option for one year and see how it goes. We will review again next year and hopefully if it proves a success, we will look to continue offering a free calendar to our members. How do I qualify for a free calendar? As long as you are a fully paid up subscribed member, you will receive a free club calendar. How do I know you have my up to date address and postcode? If you have moved house in the past couple of years or if you are unsure if we have your correct details, you MUST contact the Membership Secretary ( 300zx_girl ) with your correct details. It goes without saying, if we do not have your correct details, you will not receive your calendar. It is the responsibility of the Subscribed Member to ensure the club has their correct details. Will our annual subscriptions increase as a result of the free calendars? No. We have no plans to increase annual subscriptions. We will offer free calendars for one year and review next spring. I am a Registered User. Can I have a free calendar? No. However, you do have a couple of options to get a calendar. Option1; You have the option to subscribe to the club, receiving a free Club Membership pack and qualifying you for a free annual calendar (£20 for 1st year and £15 there after) Option 2; You may have the opportunity to purchase a calendar after all subscribed members have received theirs. They will be priced at £10 each, however, the numbers will be limited, as we will be ordering the number based around how many subscribed members will have in our member’s database. When will we receive our free calendar? We plan to have the calendars designed, manufactured and distributed before the end of November. How is the Committee deciding on the format of the calendars and can I have my car featured in next year’s calendar? This issue was also discussed at the Committee meeting. We felt that this was another problem with previous year’s calendars. Only 12 Club members had their car featured each year, leaving a lot of unhappy members. We have decided to offer one month to each of our Regional REO’s. They will be asked to forward some high quality / resolution pictures of the best meet they have held in 2008. This will give us the opportunity to feature many more club cars, rather than just one car per month. We will be looking for group shots with ideally, some good scenery. I will be contacting the REO’s over the next few days with more details. We hope this decision will be a big success and look forward to your support. Regards Steve-300ZX Club Secretary

2008 AGM and Club Awards
Timing: 16:00pm Saturday 30th August 2008 in the marquee Members questions: If any member has a specific question they would like to raise at the AGM, can they please PM myself ASAP. This will allow the committee, to hopefully give an answer there and then, rather than having to say 'We'll find out and get back to you'. I will then compile the list of questions and we can go through one by one at the AGM. The Club Annual Awards will be held on the Sunday morning around lunchtime. Voting for Club Awards We will be holding the voting at the event, as previous years. Voting forms will be available from Committee members from Sunday morning and must be handed in no later than 11:30am. Presentations will take place from 12:00pm onwards. Awards Categories TBA Regards Steve-300ZX Club Secretary

New Company Car?
Mine is the 2WD version. It gets mid forties to the gallon.
-
New Company Car?
I have just got a new Qashqai Rich. Got a 2.0 Tekna Turbo Diesel (top spec). Absolutely love it. Best Nissan I've ever had (apart from my Zed obviously LOL). Certainly recommend it matey.

FAO steve300zx
Don't think so matey. My next zed will be brand new out the box. :D

Amp questions.
I have a Genesis Profile amp hidden under my passenger seat. It's used to drive the two rear speakers but you could get an amp in there to drive all 4 no problem.
-
let me see your custom ice install
Obviously the three speakers are fixed in position. The two boards are a nice tight fit around the three speakers. Think there are ledges on the side of the speaker boxes.

My offering!

Thinking about a 350Z
I think it's a better car than a Z33 but that's not the reason why I'm considering a change. I think the Z33 will get a lot more use than the Z32 does currently. Just want a daily driver that I can leave somewhere and not worry myself sick about it. Daren't leave mine anywhere.
-
Thinking about a 350Z
That's exactly what I thought matey. Some might say I might get lucky and find a buyer at that price. I would say some lucky fooker will be getting the 300ZX.co.uk bargain of the year. But they you go, it's all about opinions at the end of the day.
-
Thinking about a 350Z
Wouldn't let it go for less than £10K bud. The ICE alone was £5K Looks like I'll be keeping her then
-
Thinking about a 350Z
I'd rather let it rot in the garage than take that for it.
-
Thinking about a 350Z
Seriously considering parting with my zed and opting for a Z33. I just think the Z33 is more a daily car than mine and TBH mine is just not getting the use it deserves. Been out in her twice since last September. I have said many times, that I would never part with my zed but with two small boys, who are now getting to the age where they need more and more of my time and attention, It's something I'm thinking about.
