there being forced towards the actuators so no risk of ingestion..and believe me once pushed into pipe (taper end 1st) the fit is tight so you have to force them down just before the circlip end but dont use anything steel as you run the risk of tearing the end up and blocking the tiny 1mm hole resulting in over-boost,use a plastic or wooden dowl and smear a bit of oil on them 1st to help the inserstion (ask the wife about this:lol:)..light oil and not grease or you again run the risk of blocking up the small 1mm hole...goodluck

if your HG has gone then the motor can become an air pump to the water system...it all depends where its gone..water and combustion side or the oil side
