  1. yes, nice they are too, only available in the states though
  2. 'limited or no connectivity' means that the link is good but the DHCP is not working, probably because the router is not set up correctly, like andyp said, automated setup should work allright.
  3. you mean you didnt chase him? thats shit luck, I hope you manage to get some money out of that weasel shit.

like that a lot. Saying that i'd go for a matching black balance bar and red coilpacks, but thats just my opinion :p
  5. fairly sure they are veilside C1's vini, and if you are going to be selling yours then i'd be interested at a good price..
  6. Jesus  I hope that guy put his lottery on after that!
  7. Actually i'd say its entirely on the price and make..
  8. no, its not a supercar. Supercars are outrageous in every way, they should look so extravagent they are almost ugly, be stupidly expensive, and have a ridiculously powerful engine.
  9. Sounds positive, theres a few guides out there showing how its done, which one is recommended? A list of the required tools would be handy too :) I also intend to fit an ATF cooler while im at it, any info on this?
  10. yes, it has a viscous type LSD, people dont usually mess with them because the stock item is bombproof, I've never heard of a diff failure on a zed. The only person I know who has a clutch LSD is XCK1 (wife? of SMW1, who incidentally isnt around any more) on her SWB NA, stu said it was good for drifting, but annoyingly noisy when making tight turns, thats all I know.
  11. Due to some highly unfortunate circumstances, it seems the zed is now mine for the keeping. It wont be going anywhere for quite some time due to the fact(s) that I am a poor student, and that I dont have a drivers lisence. Anyway to the point, it is due for a new timing belt, its done over 60k and if I am right in assuming it is still on the origonal belt, it will be 14 years old now. It will deffinatly be changed before I drive it anywhere. Inspired by a thread on another forum, it came to me that I might as well have a bash at it myself, after all it cant be THAT difficult can it, and I have a LOT of time in which to do it. I am a bit of a novice in this respect, having no experience of doing anything like this before, but people say Im quite mechanically minded, and I can learn quickly. With that in mind, do you lot think this is something I should take on or not? Stripping the front of the engine down is not a problem, just nuts and bolts, the bit which is daunting is the actual removal and refitting of the belt, and how one would keep the cams and crank from turning when the belt is off  Any advice welcome anyway.. Thanks
  12. cheaper than the competition, but that was the whole point in the entire range of Z cars, an affordable sports car for the masses, hence why they were/are such a success story in the states.
  13. making long phonecalls or lots of short ones? if you are making long calls then i'd imagine any of the vodafone 18 month tarrifs would suit, because they all have 'stop the clock' where you only pay for the first 3 minutes of a call.
  14. scum of the earth, thats all I can say about them. Don't let it put too much of a downer on things though eh..
  15. Christ thats a pretty horendous scene there, 25 is no age :( My thoughts go out to his family. RIP fella.
  16. easy way around specs camera's, make your front number plate mysteriuously fall off ;)
  17. actually rep is reputation, the little bar under everyones name there.
  18. I'd imagine it can be done, but it will also space the wheel out.
  19. cool, seems theres plenty of good places round this way, srrae has his turbo's reconned at a place in wolverhampton too, and I gather there is a good auto transmission place round here too. So is that all you need to get it on the road?
  20. christ that thing is awful. Why is the roof silver? More to the point, why are the door handles silver? No wait, why are the control pods silver? Oh hang on, why does it have a patchwork leather interior? And err, why are the wheels not spaced?
  21. there is one which will work, im not stupid enough to post it on a public forum though. And if you dont have a genuine copy then windows update wont work, it checks for a genuine serial nowadays, allthough you can circumvent the check easily.
  22. Well first off sorry i've been so long replying, but a big thanks to those who have left such touching messages (rob even did light a candle for him, thanks buddy!), I read through them eariler but it set me off crying again so I had to leave it. But seriously, I really appreciate it, and the advice given is fantastic. Thanks Simon
