good luck rich, hope it goes well for you and you have a speedy recovery.
  5. not bad, front bumper is questionable but the rest all looks good. Like the convertable one.
  6. 10 minute job to get the clocks out. Just remember where all the screws go back lol theres loads of different types.
  7. dont get out much do you ;)
  8. yep, only comes on at wide open throttle.
  9. god help you if you are in a side impact accident with those fitted, a cage with side bars is ESSENTIAL if fitting these doors IMO.
  10. same as always. edit - i'll elaborate on that. The new bands are for new cars.
  11. don't know much about this, only that its not recommended. Lots of wheel refurbing places wont touch split rims for this reason.
  12. Sounds normal to me, if you close the throttle with a higher engine speed it will generate more vacuum. You would have to have a very serious compression problem for it to be causing poor vacuum, much more likely to be a vacuum line somewhere in the intake system leaking. However 3/4 the way over the stock gauge at idle is normal.
  13. leaking oil from the bell housing... mine has it :(
  14. sounds like Topless to me.

got a flat tyre mate :p
  16. Not the first time ive heard this story. A guy I know who has a saleen mustang was filling it up and a copper approached him, had a chat about the car and then gave him a warning that the long straight just after the petrol station had a speed trap on it, commenting "i'd find it hard not to speed down there in a car like that". Some of them are good :)

an HKS mushroom filter? Best thing you can do with that nasty sponge is throw it in the bin tbh, they are rubbish.
  18. I've never recieved that one, seriously you would have to be a complete retard to believe that lol.

would be a much better option IMO to have a JWT chip put in, that way it will be fine on 95ron.
  20. the limiter is at 7000 so you wont be revving any higher than that. Peak power comes at 6400 so shifting at 7k is not unreasonable. Do yourself a favour though and never listen to your mates advice on cars ;)
  21. GPS closed again, crikey
  22. working for GPS now I believe, don't know why he doesnt come on the forum any more though.
  23. its good if you want an educational video, not very entertaining though :p best motoring and video option are both worth watching.
  24. looking good, would be better with those other wheels though ;)
