if you're gonna post late then at least have some staying power ;)
  3. jap tyres + wet british roads = psychotic handling, in fact with the yoko's mine had on, it would light 'em up in a straight line in the dry easily, and nothing short of dangerous to drive in the wet, get some good rubber on there asap mate ;)
  4. why would the engine make any difference, they are the same, differences are all in the ECU.
  5. iirc the power light is on the outer surround not the binnacle itself. So off with the binnacle hood, control pods and column cover to get to it.

I agree with what Danny says, and it doesnt really need a section, a thread in one of the FAQ forums would do. And Danny, you sound a little bitter about it all, its nothing personal mate, its just the £200 price gap, nobody doubts the conZult is a better product.
  7. I had no idea who this guy was either
  8. Excellent news Rich, chuffed for you :D
  9. whats with the 10k tacho in that car?
  10. awesome car mate, well worth trading the zed for!

my fuel pump whirs, just how quiet is a good condition pump?
  12. a little more will do. Follow the instructions exactly, it will work ;)
  13. You want to be looking in the rad not the expansion tank mate, coolant should be up to the top. Also, if your coolant is a brown rusty colour then you should flush it out and put fresh in.
  14. the prices are low because a lot of them are shite, they look like tired, worn out 15 year old bangers with rust and trim falling off. Also lets face it, the engines and transmissions in these cars are not reliable, and DO cost major money to repair.
  15. cotton cloth and autoglym fast glass does me well.
  16. Hmm, that was a pretty dumb thing to accept ;) I predict you will make it there, but it will break down on the return journey, probably due to it blowing its coolant all over the road. :p
  17. it is held on at the sides by pushclips, they are impossible to unclip so have to be sawn off. If yours doesnt have any then the spoiler has been replaced at some stage.
  18. no way, 5 times more expensive than aftermarket HID's and what for?

    very subtle vini ;)
  20. I think the seller of this needs a quiet word in his ear tbh, thats completely not on, I mean a fookin cornflake box for a gasket, is he taking the piss?
  21. anyone got a pic of an ARC one? Also how much do they cost, and the carbon fibre ones?

not likely, but its worth a try. I would imagine however, that there is a real problem causing the rough running.
  24. deep between the intake runners, in the middle, they are quite fiddly to get at.
  25. 750 for idle with the a/c off, probably drop to 650ish in drive with the brake on. It actually says this stuff on a sticker on the underside of the bonnet, along with timing and emmissions info.
