  1. lol gotta love tiff hehe. Theres was jezza yesterday going on about the endless grip of the focus RS, and today there was tiff with it all over the road ;) :D Much prefer 5th gear to that top gear drivel they put out, ill still watch it though :D
  2. kinda long one. I start the car and im getting loads of grey smoke from the drivers exhaust but hardly anything from the other one. Anyway i leave it idling for bout 10 mins, its evened out a bit over the 2 zorsts but still a lot of smoke. I rev it up a bit, lots of smoke coming out now from both zorsts, leave it for a couple more mins, still smoking but a little less and not all from the drivers side now. I now really give it some and bounce it off the limiter a couple of times and there so much smoke its rediculous, after that theres nothing..... I turn her off, back on in 10 mins and still nothing, not even pedal-to-metal . Whats that mean?
  3. Anyone got the old smoke diagnostic page that was on the old website saved by any chance? It got killed in the changeover :( CheerZ :)
  4. currently using tiscali. 14.99/mo, so it aint the cheapest but its a pretty good service. Its connected almost permanently, and they haven't moaned yet in the few months ive had it. BT cut me off cos i used it too much on the unlimited plan ;)

0.5 bar is safety boost, might wanna get that checked out.
  6. the z centre sell them, i think they are about 100 quid fitted. http://www.zcentre.co.uk thats for the chip which converts the speedo to read in mph, you just need to stick a MPH sticker over the km/h one if you forget its in mph ;) Also it removes the 112mph limit Alternatively you can get a replacement speedo fascia with an mph scale on it, about 15-20 for one of these.
  7. duno why ur guys are so picky, looks like the jobs a good'un from here ;) :D
  8. yeah this weeks episode was better than last weeks by quite a long way IMO. The bus experiment was a waste of time though i wish they would do interesting things on there! The granny in the S2000 donutting looked hilarious though lol tooley has some competition :D

ouch bad timing huh. The server hosting most of the US sites is dead atm, those sites were a huge resource. Anyway on the spoiler front, does anywhere sell the 99 spec spoilers? I like them, still, not as much as the zcentre bigass high level one ;)
  10. Apparently the Xantia needs a battery no, so isntread of buying a new one for that, i reckon i should get one of those really cool BOSCH ones like big mac has for the zed and put the skanky one back on the xantia hehe. I got some really cool gold terminals in the garage too so they will go on :)

  12. if one of the turbos has gone then the guage will come up to 0. Sounds like youre leaking air big time, you'll probably find the IC is mashed to crap on that side.

  16. up the boost, nitrous is asking for trouble on a non modified engine, the more 'traditional' route to power is intake, exhaust, ECU, boost upgrade. The safest option for moderate power increases and its not overly expensive either. There are good reasons that hardly anybody here uses nitrous.
  17. just thought id mention. The throttle position sensor has a connector on the front, and a connector on a flying lead. The one on the front is for the hard/soft idle switch. The one on the flying lead is the one that carries the throttle position information.
  18. ur perverts the lot of ya
  19. autoglym super reson is indeed good stuff. Id like to know whats good for the rubber/plastic trim though, some bits are a bit beyond repair though, near the top of the windscreen the trim has gone right back to the metal :( T roof seals are leaking big time too, came home today after some heavy rain and the inside of every window was steamed up, last time the back floor mat behind the driver seat was soaking wet, so i guess ill have to fix that too.
  20. ill shrink them a bit later, thought people would like the best resolution, seeing as a lot have cable modem etc these days. Anyway Jeff, check ur forum in a min :)
  21. warren you're not alone, i enjoy cleanig up the motor, always puts a smile on my face when the car is gleaming after all my hard work. Allthough im not sure id say no to somebody doing it for me, its cold out these days ;)
  22. i was under the impression the R35 was powered by a 3 litre twin turbo V6?
