Ours has Dunlop SP sport 2000 tyres on atm, they are infinatly better than the Yokohama ADVAN tyres that were on it before, these ones actually grip the road ;) IIRC MAC 1 has BFGoodrich, or one of the bunch with wide arses ;) Apparently Toyo's are good. If you have standard Jap spec wheels then you will want 225/50R16 all round

Not 4 wheel steering as such, but Super HICAS, which turns the rear wheels a very small amount. It is standard on all Twin turbo models, but Naturally aspirated models are not equipped with it. There are 2 versions, hydraulic and electronic. I think its 1996 and onwards models which have electronic HICAS. Anyway, almost all zeds have hydraulic HICAS, in which case the gadget thingy is just behind the drivers headlamp, long thin metal thing.

8.5" jap wheels or 8.5" (UK) standard rims on a jap? If its a stnadard UK set of wheels then it is 225/50 on the front and 245/45 on the rear.

afaik it goes out of diag mode as soon as you turn the ignition off, if not then a reset would deffinatly do it. It really is easy, even I can do it ;) :D

Blue NSX just turned round in front of the house. They look pretty cool huh! Thought it was a ferrari or something at first, then saw the Honda badge and the HUGE brake light and realised it was an NSX. The woman in the passenger seat was looking at the zed on the drive :cool:

well Iain reckons the bonnet vents help, so it wouldnt be a bad idea. I'd deffinatly go for an uprated radiator thuogh such as craigs full metal one, but you've probably allready got your name down for one of these.

actually they probably do flash at 170mph. That test on top gear wasnt exactly a fair test. They forgot to mention the TVR has a fibreglass shell and thus has a very small radar signature. This is probably the cause the camnera didnt flash, rather than it going too fast.

The TPS is a small black box about the size of a matchbox on the side of the passenger side throttle body. There is a connector pointing straight forward which is for hard/soft idle switch. and a connector on a flying lead which is the throttle position signal. The problem with the speedo and the PAS is almost deffinatly a problem with the vehicle speed sensor.

I voted Supra, i reckon they look way better than the zed. I wouldnt really class any of those as a 'sports' car, more of a jap supercar IMO, sports cars spell MX5 etc.... In that league i would have to say the Honda S2000 is very nice :cool:

using 10w40 oil (changed bout 300 miles ago), if you leave it for 10 mins just idling it would still be smoking. I thought it would be seals, but the smoke isnt blue and it doesnt smell of burnt oil at all.
