  1. looks awesome mate, love the wheels too, I think you should put the wing on the back though, would really finish it off.
  2. I can almost guarantee that the coilpack and injector connectors will be gunked up with green crap. Buy a can of electrical contact cleaner, pull all of these plugs off, give them a good spray and put them back. On the front you will see I labelled the PTU and CAS. Do these also, to do these you will need to remove the 2 top boost hoses, the PTU has 2 connectors on either end, the CAS just the 1 on the right hand side of it. You will see what I mean when I say these will need cleaning ;) Once you have put it all back together im pretty sure it will run fine again. If it doesnt, it might be something more serious, as said above, pull each one of the coilpack connectors off in turn, when you pull one out and the engine revs do not fall, this is your problem cylinder. To be sure, give the connectors a second cleanup. If theres still no joy then try somebody's knwon good PTU in it, these are notorious for dieing. If that still doesnt help, then try the electircal connections. The injector pulse is easy to check for, pull the injector plug out and put an LED across it, the LED will flash if you have a pulse. The coilpacks are a little more complicated and will involve an afternoon with a multimeter and the wiring diagrams.
  3. auto will do 201mph at 7200rpm
  4. sensible lady ;)
  5. great dials, but why is there a carpet on the dash? ;)
  6. while we're on autoboxes, at what rpm does your auto shift up when you're caining it? I noticed yesterday our zed revved right up to 7200rpm before changing from 2nd to 3rd. But on the video someone posted here a week or 2 back theirs only shifted at 6500. So whats it supposed to do?
  7. any pics? unfortunatly I couldnt make it :(
  8. what you having done warren?
  9. V8 = :D would be an interesting project. From what ive seen though, the american V8's have pretty poor power output, so not quite sure how it would perform, would sound sweet though
  10. LRP? This stuff is very expensive, designed for cars which run leaded fuel, zed is very much unleaded, not sure quite how this can be better than unleaded.
  11. yep :) and now the Z33, IMO equally as good as the 32. All the reviews are excellent, and now it seems that tiff can review ANYTHING and the conclusion is 'why buy one of these when the 350z is better'. There are some superb bodykits and performance parts out for it allready. Just imagine one of those 3.5 v6 units with 2 dinner-plate sized turbos attatched ;)

  21. Yeah the seat belts get annoying after a while. If you pull it out a bit and let go it will click and wind back up. Is there a fuse you can pull out to kill this 'feature'?
  22. And how do they sound then? ;)
