even the stock front is too low for some speed humps, and as for ramps, forget about it! Main thing is to buy a polyurethane (?) one, that way it flexes if you hit something where a fibreglass one would break. As for the wheels, it doesnt matter what size rims you have, the overall diamater should be the same so it makes no difference to ride height.

i cant comment on which are best, but the job is not too bad, id say you could do it in 45 mins, it is made much easier by removing the balance tube
