has anyone ever heard of a timing belt pulley breaking on a tt i didnt fit them with the rebuild , is it a must

I have just fitted a new belt with the rebuild the pulleys seemed fine with no play and they seem robust should i change them ?? any help i would be grateful

where could i get one of those pipes

i dont think my pipe has a one way value on it

well the pipe was split and it looked like it was going to leak so i shortened it , it goes direct into the manifold pipe which splits between both intakes , how can i stop this

Just want to say hi , i bought a 92 2+2 tt black with 80 k bearings were gone , rod had gone on no 6 rebuild with oversize bearings and gaskets and new oil pump so far the site has been a great help will not sell this car if i ever get it running well

Ive just built my twinturbo still a tiny bit tappy up top using 10w40 should i use a thicker oil , also how much mileage should i put up before i can drive it on :d:d:d

i just got the heads a small skim and valve stem oil seals , i have looked at the regulator and it has an adjustment screw , which way reduces the pressure , clockwise or anti clock wise , also still a little tappy up top but have not had it running for long any suggestions
