lol one day a few months ago i was in the zed in acton, i was puffing a cig ( on a rare occassion ) parked up in a reseidential area . police van comes past me and stops behind. they turn left go down the road then come back n stop behind. after ten minutes they come and ask me what am i doing here am i dealing drugs :D , i ended up givin the officer advice on doing a masters degree and i think he actually learnt something ahahahah i think that stop searches are worth it when the police have valid suspicion.

im in uxbridge and kingsbury bro, and im happy to travel to see some zeds :)

i disagree, i had a very nice spoiler on and then took it off. i notice more people looking at the car now. many people actually have told me that they prefer the car without the spoiler as it looks more modern. at first i disagreed, but now i like it.

lool, for the last 10 years my dad has owned 4 mercs ( and one bmw ) and all of em automatics. One day i scolded him for not leaving enough space for me to park the zed in the drive way, so he says to me 'dont complain, its much easier to handle a zed than a merc' (he knows nothing about cars). Well obviously i smelt blood here :yes:, i offered my dad to drive the said and he accepted. He managed to stall a couple times and drive up to 2nd gear before calling it quits, hah

I have never let anyone other than a Z owner ( or a sports car owner) drive my zeds. Once my old mechanic drove mine without telling me and i never went back there again. and seriously guys you let your girlfriends drive? i used to have a turkish girlfriend, i let her drive the zed for 5 minutes, she curbed it. almost dumped her. i never again let a girlfriend into the driving seat, its just too risky for the car... oh yeh and the relationship too lol.

yeh, nah i was in the middle lane because the road was empty and i was too lazy to stay on the left then go all the way to the right to go around hanger lane roundabout. but yeh for once the police used common sense.

Hahah some creative suggestions here. I was thinkin more of casino royale interrogation style i.e. whack his balls under a chair. nah but seriously not worth goin out of my way to take revenge a note about the police though, im surprised that they dont pursue the owner of the car precisely because they cant find it! maybe its stolen or involved in crime, arrent they curious about it?

Haha, it was about 8pm in mid december, i was going down the a40 towards hanger lane from staples corner, just passing the wembley exits. I was in the middle lane having a relaxing drive doing a steady 50mph on the dot. There was a car in front so i was just staying behind him with plenty of distance. A chav corsa was right up my arse from kingsbury all the way up to wembley, literally only 3 or 4 inches away from my back and the road was empty. As i was watching them in my rear view, i also noticed a black bmw 5 series behind them although i didnt think anything of it at the time. So finally i had enough, i dropped to 2nd and blitzzed into the outside lane, overtook the car in front, then settled back to 50mph in the middle lane. In the meantime the corsa, with its powerful engine :clown: tried to do the same and followed me. as i was watching in the driver mirror, i hear 'whooo, whooo' blue lights flashing behind the corsa, it was the bmw 5 series police lol and they pulled the corsa over right there on the a40 before hanger lane, and let me go :) vic

doesnt sound like a speed camera or police, they cant just take ur average speed from a moving vehicle, and if they do then youi can contest it in court so they wouldnt bother prosecuting for that unless you were going too fast.

Lol just an update guys, po po, five - oh, po-lice, contacted me the other day. they said that they will not be following up the case, for two reasons. a. There was no cctv footage of the incident (undderstandable and as I expected) b. This takes the buscuit, the police man said that they cannot find the car at the house that it is registered to, so they cannot pursue the case. And when I questioned the pooliceman about why they dont follow up the case based solely on the fact that they cannot find the car, he said to me that 'its just not possible' Seriously once my Phd is over im skipping the country along with my zed; not going to waste my tax money in this country any more. also mate, my friend got a very cheap insurance on his zed as well. what he did was called up admiral car insurance and direct line and played them off against eachother. because they are sister companies they offer very similar prices but are very competitive against eachother. as soon as he mentioned a quote from direct line to the admiral car insurance salesman (and visa versa) they immediately dropped the quotes down!!!

hey mate, dont ever use those comparison websites they are rubbish. dont ever ever use them. when i was insurin my second z last year the cheapest price on meerkat was 5k! can u believe dat? aviva are very good try them out. also try out tesco insurance, i heard they do something like give 2 years no claims bonus for the first year. one of my fathers clients did a good one though, he got a group of friends, about 4 people with 7 cars, and created a company insurance on them. turned out that everybody ended up saving a hundred or more a year!
