hehe, on the way to bham a few months ago saw a 458 italia on the motorway. tried to race him but he wasnt having any of it, think he got scared when he saw three big hairy guys in a sports car next to him! he dropped back a bit after that. no doubt who the winner wouldve been.... :whistling:

sry to highjack, but i put my zed value as 15k in the insurance, it didnt make a difference whether it was 5 or 15, was tempted to put it higher. did anyone else do the same?

i would say that n/a's are excellent if you want the look and performance of a zed on the road, but dont need the top end racing performance. they are cheaper on fuel, cost a bit less insurance, and they dont surprise you on the bends if your foot gets itchy ;)

lol, a zed member who needs to know about higher rate tax! i think he's in the minority ahah. well if you want some dodgy advise, wash the money ;)

I agree. Soon as i get some money im gna do this to my zed as well, but much better ;) im sure it can be done on a smaller budget.

Don't worry too much about the rising fuel costs, the rise in duty and potential rises thereafter are just not manageable and could potentially hit the economy hard, thereby forcing government to reduce duty. Its extreemely possible that in the long term, meaning 2 to 3 years, fuel costs could go down again. Also the coalition is unstable and so anything could happen in that respect. I dont think that its gna go up to £140 a litre :tt2: (dont give nightmares pls), £1.40 yes, but maybe being patient for a while could pay off. vic

Time's on ur side man, just be patient and work hard. the car can wait a year or two even. its not worth struggling financially to fund a car, especially in the current economic climate. Just imagine getting into the zed after a long break, imagine the fresh feeling, imagine the drive, and that should give you motivation. vic

if i had the ability, the team, and the golden balls to do it, i would raid the petrol stations. that will teach them to make so much profit from us. seriously they make BILLIONS of dollars of profit every year and they complain when profit is down by 0.4% !!!!!!!
