  1. drive is smooth,noiseless...... I doubt its noiseless, bet you can here the wind very badly in that.
  2. that's awesome, always love seeing things others have made, to get the job done. Should be out changing the arm sometime today, just hope my tracking isnt too out once done.
  3. This is how i did it. Uncover the ABS pump in the boot on the drivers side wheel arch cover. Jack car up on all 4 corners Take wheels off Take some air bubble tubing (for a fish tank) and place it over the bleed nipple on all 4 calipers, and both bleed nipples on the ABS unit. Having someone pump the brakes while you top up the brake fluid helps, use a empty container and feed the excess fluid from the air bubble tubing, with the air bubble tubing, you will clearly see the air, once the tube is pumping air free fluid, do the nipple up. I bleed them in this order. Bleed the ABS Bleed the rear brakes Bleed the front brakes Bleed the ABS again Check, if all is ok, the peddle should stiffen up every time. if there is still air in the system, it will feel soft and spongy. ive heard rumors that you should do it, passenger side, drivers side fronts, the rear drivers, rear passenger side, then the ABS unit. but when i did that i found that i still had plenty of air in the system.
  4. He does just the arches, and the rear sills, plus support sill (inside the car) good prices as well, i shall be venturing to MJP my self before my respray as i need a rear wheel arch and sill, before they get very bad (just started to bubble)
  5. If the rust is on the rear wheel arches, then MJP a seller on here can get OEM replacements, but you will need a competent welder to get them on the car with out causing panel warp
  6. Sorted your photos out for you, that's still not bad for 650. anything else wrong with it apart from the rust?
  7. blue only joking lol, gold or silver mate.
  8. welcome to the club bud.
  9. Do you know when the work was done, and if they used a genuine water pump? as 3rd party ones have been known to fail faster than a OEM one, also check up and around the two front water hoses that connect the engine to the rad, there are two rubber pipes on the top one where the water can leak from.
  10. was it this one by any chance? i dont think the guy who owns this acctually visits here. but i could be wrong. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1993-NISSAN-300ZX-TT-AUTO-/160542284360?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item256110da48
  11. That's how it's supposed to be if you uploaded to the forum matey
  12. Closed the thread, as you have posted asking the same question twice in two separate threads.
  13. Jeff your a genius mate :D Rocking top to bottom it was solid as well, i also checked both rear wheels, and its only on the drivers side, suppose i best invest in some 30mm spanners now :(
  14. who the hell took a 300zx and turned it into a snow plow? that rear bumper doesnt look good either, and im not usually one to comment on such things with disgust lol
  15. LOL well, thanks for that jeff, im no longer confused in anyway shape or form, so it wasn't my plight yesterday that prompted this write up? either way, thank you very much. Would also like to point out to everyone, that the reason the MOT guy thought it was a wheel bearing on my zed, was due to how he checked, Grabbing the tire in a quarter to 3 position, and wiggling it right to left, yielded movement. I questioned this as with a wheel bearing, i was sure you would be looking at a 360 degree wobble, and not one that just occurred from right to left, (left to right it was solid)
  16. You can hardly count mine as "best photo" either. but the're the ones i have. so they get posted.:euro:
  17. det sensor? lol that's the only thing i can remember being right in the middle at the back.
  18. LOL same here, strange that i changed my brake pads the other day, and now have a hicas fault that the MOT guy thought was a wheel bearing, i did the same thing, went out and scrutinised my work till i tracked down what the real issue was.
  19. Did you do the calipers up tight enough?
  20. What speed does it come in at? a few things on a N/A Wheel balancing. Center bearing on the prop shaft. Warped disks. Warped calipers.
  21. Pointless company to be honest, they pray on the fact that women think they get cheaper insurance yet women can get cheaper else where. my friend said that her quote was £1000 dearer with sheilas wheels than the company she eventually ended up with.
  22. Don't worry matey, i understood what you meant :D, and opinions are always a good point when deciding what you want.
  23. If it was me, id go with the one that I wanted, not what others wanted me to drive, i wouldn't care about being a "status" symbol, after all i own a zed so, not much difference lol If you can afford the maintenance, go with the one YOU want to drive. you can always sell it and get a different style one later if it doesnt work out.
  24. Happy birthday bud
  25. Diddy p, ive had to edit your post, please read it for the explanation.
