  1. Andy what wheel spacers if any do you have on the front of yours to get it fill the arches so well (though i bet it helps with good offset)
  2. http://www.performancealloys.com/hub-Adaptor-details.aspx?ID=298 There ya go mate.
  3. Ive been sitting here waiting for you to get hold of me about that bud. don't worry i still have the perfectly good working one here in the garage. You will have to bring a half inch ratchet with you though, as mine suffered catastrophic failure lol
  4. It can be done, but take note its a temporary fix. it WILL happen again, its due to the design, not enough air flow over the chips. The Xbox360 suffers the same problem with a 3 lights of death.
  5. Andy using a iphone and autocorrect is on?
  6. cant beat a bit of sensual trance mate.
  7. you mean from 5 x 100 to 5 x 114.3? Dunno was on the car as the wheels came with it matey, they also act as spacers which is handy as the wheels fill the arches nicely and give it a nice rear stance. still need about 10mm on the fronts though.
  8. Sounds like a goosed gearbox but. but id get another opinion
  9. Thats exactly what i want to do, i want my spokes white with a polished rim But everywhere around here doesnt want to touch 3 piece splits
  10. well, someone told me they were 3 piece, but the join looks more like 2 piece. anyway they are Impul racing RS's 17 inch, 5x100 (yes that's correct, they have the 114.3 adapter on them)
  11. We got sun, and dear say around 21 degree heat (well that's what i feels like) Had the roof off today, its been lovely cant wait for more heat and sun to be honest. if it carries on with this trend, bring on summer and the fine ladies walking about.
  12. Well my two piece have a seal through the center, the spokes are connected to the rear of the wheel, and the front part with the front wall lip, comes away separately, so i suppose it depends on how they split.
  13. Well if you get the join wrong it will leak and go flat all the time, so id say best leave it to someone with 1. the correct tools to complete the job (IE new seal) 2. you have someone to blame when it all goes wrong lol
  14. You stated your rear screen was smashed by a welder. i said i dunno why people bother with Autoglass. (i did see the just for fun part) i was commenting on why anyone in there right mind would want to go with them, and was enhancing the reasons why, from your orignal post with my experience of them as well. Now if you took it a completely different way to how i said it. sorry about that. but unfortunately text on a screen doesnt seem to convey how it was meant to of been said. Also, as you stated a welder did it. yes i naturally assumed you mean when you were getting body paneling done, now had you said "a mate who can weld accidental did it" i wouldn't of had to assume anything :tt2:
  15. I Obviously am taking the wrong drugs....
  16. Why do people chose Auto-ripoff-glass, google windscreen glass replacement, there are VERY cheaper options out there. Autoglass said £700 to replace my windscreen on my breaker, i got one from a different company for £216 fitted. Also, why are you replacing the screen, they should so i wouldnt worry too much about price.
  17. Sorry bud, that just sounds like too many drummers want to make a band lol but each to there own.
  18. Well, as a ex DJ, thought id share some of the best usually unheard mixes of some awesome summer tunes for all those that like a bit of trance / dance. Best beach tune ever. stand on a beach with this playing in the background with the sun setting in the distance. the red glow and long shadows in the summer and if you don't have goose bumps by the end of the song then you dont have a pulse. 19. NP guys, ill get around to making smoking guide for people and stick it in the FAQ section for easy reference. When the engine came out of my breaker. the turbo elbow was being held on by 1 bolt. the turbo its self had suffered catastrophic failure due to the oil seal failing. the smoke was unbelievable but only came from the drivers side. you could tell it was the turbo as the oil was dripping from the join at the elbow. Now you could drive your car with oil seal failure, but it will only be a matter of time before you completely wreck it, as the turbo will still spool up. If it does it while driving like mine did (mine did it on the way to the MOT) You will create a hazard for other drivers, and instead of being able to get them reconditioned, you will be looking at a replacement. Your current choices are, get them reconditioned with 360 degree bearings and new oil seals. or just replace them. Either way, the turbos will have to come off the car. Hope that helps in your decision.
  20. Lol now I know I'm not drunk but I can't make head nor tail of that  lol
  21. Alan I'm sure that after your car had been on the road for 20 years, you would know if it needed one (I'm not saying that's how long you have had it)
  22. Hell, if kids are allowed to come, ill be along.
  23. You could drive it, but you will knacker the turbo quicker. also you might get pulled over by the plod if the seal knackers completely while driving and you fog out everyone behind you.
