well, nothing in the MOT hand book that states the engine has to be in it? just states that certain tests need the revs to be brought up to 2500, he might of took the engine in on a pallet lol

right bottom as you look at the engine, is the A/C clutch and pump, there should be a belt on there, but could be disconnected as the clutch has seized up, also with a squealing belt, best thing to do would be replace the belt and do up to the correct tension.

if your driving it 60 miles, id attempt it in 2nd only, you only have to do 40mph everywhere and stay off the motorways / duel carrageway, if you use B roads and A roads you will be ok

I enquired about this a long time ago, and from what i got told, i wouldnt bother trying to TT a N/A engine. reason being is the internals are much stronger in the TT to cope with the extra stresses that are going to be applied to them. I suspect that if you stuck some tubs on the N/A engine after about a month or two you would need a new bottom end.

I went from a HTC touch HD to a Iphone, and although i hate apple, i will say one thing, since owning a iphone there is no way ill touch another smart phone. its one of the best there is hands down, and i was very skeptical about getting one. im now on my 2nd and loving everything about it. I know ill get people say "but this windows phone does this and this and this over the iphone" but i really dont care. its so simple to use, the screen is very responsive and the apps, omg how many? the games are awesome, you can use it as GPS with Tomtom on it, google earth, absolutely loads of cool functions, and the funny thing is, Ive seen the newer smart phones and although they don't have a problem with adobe, like apple does, they are all trying to be the iphone simple as that. half the functions on other smart phones are dumbed down versions of the iphone apps, the iphone pulls it off better though. Oh and multi touch screen, so you can use two fingers on it at the same time. Only thing about the iphone though, is battery life. if you have it in the car and are using it as GPS you NEED the incar charger. if you have it using it with blue tooth headset, YOU need to be near your charger. And unless you jailbreak it, you are married to the app store.
