Thanks guys, i thought that the only thing that would let the manual down would be the driver, but i didn't know bout the smaller turbos. Is that why the auto is lower on power than the manual? cos of the smaller tubs?

I have an auto TT Si, and i just assumed that a similarly powered manual would be quicker off the lights than mine? Also in standard form, would the extra bit of horsepower that the manual has not come into play off he lights? Give us a bit of an education please mate, or anyone else out there who knows. :smartass:

oooo some nice parts there bud. how much for the dials? also since you seem to have a load of bits - you dont happen to have either a 99 spec front bumper or aftermarket one? Bit of a long shot i know, but you never know. Sorry to hear you had such a rough deal with the RX7 saga.

Depends to be honest mate, on what is causing it to be in safety boost mode. Mine slips in and out of safety mode due to the fact that my recirc valves are not working properly. Likewise i had the wrong thermostat and this was causing the engine to not run hot enough which then caused it to kick into saftey mode. If its an auto you can do an auto diagnostic check (do a search as full instructions are on here somewhere) that might give you a starting point to work from. Really you probably want to get a diagniostic or Conzult check to give you more info. (there are many members on here with this software, who i am sure would help you out if you can get to them.) Alternatively take it to Zedworld or some of the more reputable mechanics on here would i am sure be able to help giv eyou a better pictre. Either way someone will be along with more knowledge than me to give more consise advice. HTH

Someone on here is selling a dual intake with filters for about £40 i think - good price, but they do look as if they could use a clean.
