  1. That's bad luck mate...... during the snow I managed to whack the curb on wife's car, buckled the wheel, ouch then my son gets a flat from a pot hole in our runabout and the tyres shagged.....of course it was one of the front tyres that I replaced just before Christmas:mad: Dreading putting new rubber on the Zed anytime soon as new tyres seem to be a bloody magnet for me for getting puctures etc.
  2. Hi Jason, good hunting there some great cars out there, I'm sure you see plenty of "nails" as well unfortunatley. The guys & info on this site are a valuable resoucre. Make sure you poSt a few pictures once you have found you're dream Zed. H.
  3. hmmmn have some window film, maybe in the right colour and a spare set of lights might give it a go
  4. Count me in Stu! what sort of time scale are we looking at? SRR is a good venue and I'm sure we can get enough people to get a good rate from Charlie. I'll give Charlie a cal tomorrow to get an idea of dates/costs if you like? H
  5. arrrgh just seen page 6 of pink plenumn thread, poor guys b0ll0ck$!! scared for life now :helpsmilie:

  7. Dunno about the fitting but they look like very nice wheels
  8. must have be made by the little boy in the 4th picture
  9. that's grim, the interior is awfull and needs ripping out. I think those rears look a f***ing mess can't understand how anyone could like them! :hurl: I wonder how may more fonts he could have used in the ad as well?
  10. did exactly this on mine, worked a treat! H.
  11. Looks good so far, will be interested in how it turns out in hte end as I may be looking to have mine re-sprayed in the near future. H.
  12. Voted as well. I think the COMQ would work better aswell, giving some of us newbies a chance to get our zeds a bit nearer the mark. H
  13. that's craaaaaaaaaazzzzzy! :hang:
  14. plenty of snow here at least 1' and still snowing!
  15. Ok so it's 1k more than the grey one ...... and it's in N.I but to find a good car.... (any car you must be preapred to travel). http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NISSAN-300ZX-TWIN-TURBO-UK-CAR-SERIES-II-1993-L-REG_W0QQitemZ150400878080QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAutomobiles_UK?hash=item2304974600# but it has had only 2 owners and looks like (if genuine) has a full SH which IMO is worth a lot with these cars. I would see if they would accept an offer as there cannot be many people out there this time of year after a Zed. It's an auto, but I bet with the money you'd save on this one against the Ph car you could put towards a manual swap in time. Personally if I had just had new turbo/s timing belt changed, the last I would be doing would be selling, which makes me think what else might be wrong with it to make him sell. Tread carefully young man! :) H.
  16. Christ how many photos!!! Look like a very clean standard UK model, surley must be worth a look for anyone considering a zed, ...................................................................................................................................................................................CraigTT? H.
  17. Camber adjustment at the rear as well, thanks Allan. Nearly got all the parts just waiting for the weather to get a bit warmer, and haven't decided on which shocks spring to go for. Don't want anything to hard as I wish to keep my spine intact, anything to low and I will have to redo the driveway as the slope at the moment only just lets the car into the garage. Either that or move house, lol. H.
  18. Hi, looking at replacing all the OEM suspension on my car as it's the only thing that was never fitted when the kit was done. As expected the inside of the tyres wear faster because of this and the car sits a bit to high on the OEM shocks/springs. So to all the guys who have a wide arch kit fitted what suspension did you go with and what other parts did you replace/recommend I replace while I'm there so to speak? Here's my list so far. Drop links Tension Rods Tension rod bushes Upper link adjustable camber arms Eibach spring f&r Shocks - ? cheers H.
  19. I removed my light units recently, just used a wallpaper scrapper blade to carfeully run around the rear of the light unit to break the seal. Mine had been out before and someone had used Tigerseal as well as the old Nissan sealant. As an earlier poster said it a very messy job and the stuff sticks like $h*t to a blanket. Oh yes and if you want to get hold of the original Nissan sealant strips it is still available @ £25! per unit. H.

  21. Great news should be a FANTASTIC 2010 season! H.
  22. You can get specific energy saving bulbs if you have a dimmer switch, otherwise the bulb won't last long  H.
  23. I have that job to look forward to over the winter as well... but without taking the bumper off :smash: How long did it take you?
  24. How easy were the turbo elbows to fit? H
