Hi, my 1989 TT seems to be running rich. The fuel economy even for this car is terrible. 10 mpg around town taking it very easy, 15-20 on a run. The car is standard as far as I know apart from Cat-Back stainless steel exhaust system( standra manifold I believe). The 5 inch tailpipe inners are coated with soot. My father pointed this out. Just wondered whether it was an easy jot to tune the car or is an ECU issue??? zind

I picked up another Z TT yesterday.Drove the car back from Devon to bournemouth for 3 hours. Everything fine. Noticed however that the oil prssure gauge was reading zero !! Not budging even under heavy revs. An RAC man who I happened to chat to at a garage(I pulled over straight away) agreed with me and said, the engine sounds fine, the turbos would have seized if the pressure was genuinly that low. He estimated a dodgy sensor or guage.....however, on starting cold this mornirng with thicker cold oil....., the guage sits on zero but pressure increases to 4 when revving. As it warms up it stops moving up the scale again... i am stumped as the car seems to run perfectly. the cams, tappets are quiet, turbs spin up, there is a lot of power? help anybody????? Where is the sensor on these car, crank case???

Hi, just found out the belts were done only 25,000 miles ago but in 2003. I am guessing they will probably need a change because of period of time?

Hey thats great...can I ask why the jump up in price for the ECU replacment? Just curious... Would you recommend upgrading injectors or can you just pop this in?
