it's poss that someone has disconected the hi-cas and removed the bulb in the dash. when you disconnect the brown plug near the powerstreeing pot this fools the car into thinking that it is low on fluid and turns off the hi-cas system. alot of people do this.

Mike at mjp does the boss with hicas and cruise controll on it.

do a local search on auto trader and see if there's one near you at a garage. and take it for a spin. oh and welcome to the club

when the engine is coid open the rad cap if it's low just top up. or there is the rad over flow bottle. yellow top on the right handside of engine bay behind the light. hth
