I have some notes below from when I took mine off:

    Hopefully they make sense

    1 - Remove Side Lights

    2 - Remove Interior Panels

3 - Unscrew along the rear centre  = 11 nuts
Along the left & right hand sides = 2 screws each in rubber washer-type things,

3 - Above rear licence plate along the top = 3 screws

4 - Underside behind License plate = 4 plastic screws in the middle + 1 in each corner

5 - Corners next to exhaust - 1 screw each side - Found these really tricky as they are exposed and may be covered in grit and dirt or even rusted out,

6 - Corners above exhaust holding the bumper to rear quarter panel = 1 screw each side

Just a few to find then. thank you  Its mire how to put one back on, but I figured there might be a guide on how to remove and just reverse it,

    Thank you

  2. So after nearly now 15 years plus of having both Zeds off the road, I'm Determined to get one back on the road this year. Been out of the Club so long and I'm guessing lots of the old parts places are no longer in existence. ( I was sad to see Mike Freeny had passed) spent many a long phone call with him. Zed tec which I know has finished was the start of the demise of my Zed been on the road. Having gone there for a forged and balance engine and upgraded gt28turbos.unothodox pullies. ported and polished head. When I finally got it back. It had a trip to john DIxon for a Greddy profic E-01 boost controller. Cant praise John enough he transformed the car  and was very helpful. Is he still here? I know he was doing a V8 dry sump engine swap. There was somebody else doing that on here too, Wish I could remember his name. He was I a band Birmingham way. I want to say leigh but??

Any way, loving the new found power of the zed it ripped the flywheel. Trip to Zedtec and there it stayed for 20 months no matter of how many phone calls and visits it never got sorted. left out side which started the rotting of the sills and more. Finally got it back after it went to another place who Bought the Zedtec name and it needed loads spending on it for MOT , which at the time I didn't have, also  family illness, it was put on the back burner and there it stayed. After a close call last year with the Grim reaper myself, I decided that I have to get my finger out and sort One of them out. The one has been garaged but is needing putting back together after a slight front end  near side knock I bought it like that damaged, no Structural damage but I thought I'd save some money before taking it to the garage to be fixed and just never got to rebuilding it when it arrived back home, that was a big mistake.

So plan is to get it put back together and it would seem the place to contact is now POWERZED, so I will be contacting him this week to see what can be done.

I have no idea who is in the market or where to go for parts any more so any help on this would be great.

Going forward I think get my 96 2+2 back on the road for this year, and then see about getting the other engine checked over the winter, and doing a transplant as I think the body work on the 92 is too far gone.

Will keep you all updated on how things are going .

  3. Hi All, well after many many years away and two ZX's left to sit and dare I say one to rot. I've Finally got my head into gear to do something about them.

I did briefly pop back a couple of years ago but was kicked hard with covid, Now well on the mend and need to re live some of my enjoyment of the 300ZXTT. surprising what a wake up call with the Grim man can do for you.

So hopefully there will be some old names from the many moons ago when I was an active member, 15 years ago. And meet some new Folks too.

I'll get some pics up of the sorry state My Car is in and hopefully with the help from people on here get my Arse in to gear to sort it out.

  4. So a long time ago I bought a N reg TT manual with bumper damage.  It's been sat in my garage for about 10 years and think of putting it all back together, as half the front end was taken off and passenger side pipes coolers etc to check for damage.

Just roughly what price would these bring it is totally rust free. Tidy car totally standard

    TIA

  9. ok ok i know it's a little early to be thinking of snow boarding yet with all this lovely sun. But for the next seesion i an looking for some different bindings for my board. I've got Burton Cartel which are a great alround binding but of one week i go with 10 lads who ski, so i'm looking for some quick fasten bindings foot in clip and go, not the step on type. If anyone can recommend some diff types to look at i'd be gratefull. need to be mid range up though for off piste jumps and fast hill boarding

    thanks graeme
