1. True , nice polished, but £400 is my flight to Bangkok on its own, the ones in the Photojobber pic are £100 with tyres.
2. Hey, happy New year to you all! I've decided its to difficult to get hold of some T/T wider rear wheels so I am looking at other cars alloys for my Z Spend £ridiculous amounts of dosh on wheels/tyres is out of the question as I have my Holiday in Thailand with the wife and Mini Me to think of in May. I have found something that I feel works, 18" Mazda RX8 alloys, still a slight dog-leg to the appearance and same off set . Has anyone else done this?
3. I've just stopped using mine this week. I had a training course last week which was up in Hinckey and that for me was the last time I was going to use her this year. Got to say as a long distance cruiser shes better than some new BMWs I 've used lately ahem 335 coupe/ Z4Mcoupe. Funnily enough saw a Delorean drive past my Hotel one morning in Hinckley. Every one loved thee Z up there but they are a Sexy looking car....wheres that beer gone!?
4. Hey! I just laid up my Z for winter (shes a bit too sideways in the wet with my daughter in the baby seat beside me) so using the safe ol' dependable Skoda Octy! I followed a couple of Blue R33 Skylines the other day into a yard called Abbey Motorsport in my Z; just around the corner from me that I didn't know was there! Has anyone used them and are they any good? I want to replace the passenger front wheel bearing and I think the o/s manifold gasket is starting to free itself (can hear it when cold) I am looking for 2x 8.5j rear t/turbo wheels that they dont have laying around too. They had various HKS 350Zs and Skyline R32/33/34 laying around and a few Scoobys and a TVR Cerb. To me that means nothing, I dont want to get stung for a large bill for crappy work. When I had the Delorean I took it to as specialist guy that made a couple of serious fook ups, like not tightening up my front stud axle which considering I liked to cruise at 88mph made for a dice with death experience I dont want to repeat! Cheers!!!!
5. Never seen that, its all about Lucky Louie for me!
6. If its in Swansea, the wheels wont last long, I went to Uni there and they nicked the bloody tape deck out of my Skoda, so a 300zx has no chance!
7. Red one with Bodykit parked outside a Office, not sure of the name of the road, but next to a Mazda/Ford Dealership, Mine was level with yours from the traffic lights:tongue:
8. I was on the M25 that day too in my Black N/A!!!
9. One thing I have to admit, its a bloody good looking car, still turns heads now, mines stock! although it sounds tastey too. But I will admit I am stroking off the cars I want Lifes too short!. After the Z it will be a Maserati 3200.
10. yeah I know about the reflective plates but this car of mine still has the Jap chrome numberplate surrounds, the rear one is dished, 2-3 inches and has the lights behind. I have placed Thai flags on my numberplates now as My 2nd home is there (parents live there) so if you see me about giz a toot. The Z is pretty nice thing to drive, reminds me a bit of Z4 COUPE? ON THE LIST TOO DO!!! rear turbo wheels rep fibreglass rear spoiler paint wipers matt black paint matt black back on too front bumper front wheel bearing seatbelt Parcel shelf and I'll have it done in time for tea!:D
11. Sorry BADDER I didn't answer your question, it was the lowest belt, I think alternator??? just took off the air pipe on the left of the engine, felt to some bolts too tighten . bish bosh job done! I wouldn't of really sold her but you know what its like when you get annoyed with a car and cant seem to get the time too sort it out! right time for a ....:duffer:
12. Shes a squeek free motor now!!, I will sort out the seat belt next week. I just had to change a window regulator on my Dads Octavia.:slap: I dunno if anyone had this on the Z but I have illumiation from behind the number plate, makes it look glittery in the Dark? she must still have the restricter on, according to the ROAD ANGLE she blipps at 116mph Is there any meets happening in my area. The Grasshopper in Westerham attracts a load of clubs, Rolls Royce, Cobra, FTO, Delorean:headvswal Calibra:xxx: Should we organize something?

14. Hi! Had the Z for a month or so now, love it to bits but the bloody sqeeling of the belts was driving me nuts, so bad I almost sold her! Just sorted it out now, back to being a good bitch! The only niggling thing in her now is a sticking drivers seat belt.:p
15. Delorean 81 anywhere around M25/M20
16. Matt Black? thats what I'll be doing to mine at some point soon!
17. nope, didn't buy it because of Top gear, but admittly it was an Omen from God as my wife said " why dont you buy one of the Nissans you've always been after!" so here I am.
18. mine was a stage 1 tuned by Martin Gutkowski, it was still capable of keeping up with BMW Z4s and Golf GTIs and went around corners just as well as the ZX but if you had a U.S spec one it would be pathetic. Coil overs sorted mine out and a 3" drop. If I was to do an engine conversion to my one for everyday use I might have the BMW 335D engine and it would be the worlds 1st Diesel Delorean? But as for the ZX shes sweet as a nut so far!
19. ohh, yeah!!! I love the 300, its a great "family car" : p, I went for an N/A for transporting my Daughter around in my local area as the wife has a company car and reliablity really as she is my Daily driver at the mo and fuel comsuption as its not as juicy as a Turbo Octavia I have kept in the garage. I 've had a soft spot for the 300 for a long long time, now was the right time to buy one. Laters! This 300ZX is not going to be polished with a brillo pad>>>I must remember!
20. The Delorean Had to go as I was made Redundant, and it was my Rainy Day money tied up in it. Poo hit the fan but that doesn't mean I should drive around in a Eurobox getting all depressed! I just polished the 300 this morning, unfortunatly it has had some paint in the past, but the motor and gearbox are top notch. >65k full Jap service history, belt and service done recently, Shaggy mats and blinds. The Childs Seat fitted in the Delorean, funny enough the Gullwing doors where pretty handy! But the Pushchair didn't. The Delorean sold for £17500, could buy a hell of a 300 for that kinda dosh, but I only spent £1600 on the 300. When things are better I might get a Euro spec version. For now all I want is a new Stereo and some TT rear wheels and possibly a fibreglass rear spoiler replica. If I can figure it out I will post some pictures of the beast! Thanks for the warm Welcome Ps the Flux Capacitor was part of the deal for the new owner; ) but you can buy them off Ebay!
21. Hey, just bought my Z and like it alot! its not too bad for a 19 y/ld mota! Yes I did trade the Delorean for a Z (in case you thought I was kidding!) http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f=65&t=737582&mid=156204&i=40&nmt=RE: PH Sunday Service: Pictures&mid=156204 I justified it to my wife by saying the boot could hold a pushchair and the child seat fits! So' both me and my 9 month old Daughter love it> it gives her the giggles and big smiles! All the at needs doing, is some Turbo rear wheels a damn good clean and polish and an mP3/usb player installed and she'll be spot on! Right wheres that Beer!? Chao!:duffer:
