T'was driving to my Cousins in South Norwood and saw 2 within 2-3 minutes of each other last night. The Red one with a kit on it was driving through the centre of Croydon. The Green one I let you out of the BP station next to Whitehorse Rd I was in the White Nissan CUBE. OOOH ARRR YEEE???

Swadee Krupp! My Zed has had a bit of attention spent on her lately but she has this slightly irritating gearbox issue. She is a N/A with and Autobox '1990 but when I boot it a bit it sounds like the limiter is kicking in and sometimes she wont change up the gear? Has anyone any solutions? I have changed the plugs recently, and shes had a service at Nissan. It seems to be worse when shes warmed up?

I 've seen a KITT when I was driving past the mad mile in Addington, the sad thing was the day before I took my Delorean too work. Quite funny with a DMC parked outside a Skoda Dealership. I quite Fancy a Kitt, but I think my heart is set on a Bangkok TUK TUK now.

:wack: Just got a nice new MAF off the Fleebay for £70 with a years warranty. Installed it works fine. There is a wee hesitation when I go round a bend or when at idle, do I need the ecu reset to accept the new MAF. The MAF is correct by the way. Cheers:batman:

Just taken the MAF out, and going to have a peek tonight, the wiring looks fine all the way to the ECU. If anyone around London area has a second hand one that works and wants to sell it let me know.:blink:

Indeed, but looks like I'll have to stip the AMF down to its component parts! Worked a treat on the 1.8t Skud Octy, oil and filter change, shes almost as quick as a vRS now:tt2:

When I get around to it I will look into turning the indicators of my one from orange to clear, can't be that hard!???

This morning, I thought I'd start her up as the flat battery was due to shitty contacts with the terminals, so battery is charged and fine. once she started a blipped the throttle and she went up to 3500-4000 rpm then never went beyond 2500 again, day off tomorrow so will take a look at the MAF again. Hey, back now! Still no change, cleaned every connection related to the MAF and the injection system, took her for a drive, still limited to 2500rpm AND 80kph!!! in Hold mode!? Might be thinking the ECU is holding back on something else? Condition of the pins on the MAF where fine, and the element too, so now I'm confused.com??? Its starting to look like the most reliable car I've owned was a Delorean! everything works well, up to 2500rpm then there is a clunking from prop/diff when trying to go past 80kp/h? that pulls the car back? Wierd! Better get on with the flat pack furniture, but at least I fixed the Skodas' little niggles! (waiting for my mates hooky copy of 7 too ; ) )

Thanks Guys, thats helped me out, went to start her up this morning, and the battery is FOOKED! I will have to sort it out later, too many things goin' wrong at the mo, Windows Vista is screw (I'm in safe mode) the fan oven element has just gone BANG. My Octavia has an ABS wheel sensor gone down as well as a tempermental heating fan!, The Z is fooked and I have Flat pack furniture to put together that my wife won't stop nagging for me to get done! :clover: And they say the Irish are Lucky??? pfft! :duffer: Thanks again, I let you know how I get on, better go sort some this shite out!

H!:nuke: I hope you lot may be able to help me? My battery went flat and I boosted it of my mates jump pack. I let her run til warm then set off. I woudn't rev over 2500 rpm .Its an Auto box,import so tried all the 'box modes but none of them changed the rpm limit. Took her for about a 3 mile drive but still the same. I have to point out that when I moved it last night, when I switched it off it kind of , felt like back pressure or something as the engine lurched , I guess thats the best way to explain it. It starts fine,and runs up to 2500rpm as normal, is it a problem with the air mass meter? and where is it on these :censored:cars?
