I'd be wary, they have never sold an item on ebay!
  9. Here's a real treat for those of you who love thongs... ...or maybe not, enough to put most people off!

Cool, I will be a wolf!
  11. No one can compete with Joely P's custom customisations, especially the New Forest pony spoiler!
  12. Gaz, can you make us all a packed lunch with wagon wheels, mint viscounts, wotsits, dairylea triangles and panda pops (with straws)?
  13. I believe he does know, IIRC he has been picked upon it before.
  14. I assume they will deny all knowledge, stating it must have happened after you collected it.
  15. I think they just needed to speed up the track action, too big a gap between each car... Mind you, the commentator, although boring, was very sarcastic towards the participants
  16. Not as "chavvy" as one would anticpate, probably because they couldn't wheelspin and donut like they would at McDonalds! Overall I thought it was an okay event, reasonably well organised, little rough round the edges but it's great to watch people who think they are the next Michael Schumacher as they spin out and crash into the barriers! PS Apologies to Mark W, you went the wrong way but that was my poor explanation, but obviously you got home to post on here!
  17. Very nice Eddy, but who will see them? You are the only person who lives in Scotland!
  18. Personally I know that 99.9% of you have no idea about the training and use of police dogs and as a result don't really know what you are talking about. IMHO.
  19. BMW 840's are very unreliable IIRC, auto gearbox's are about £4000 to replace!
  20. It does seem very harsh but this may be why, quote from BBC article "The dog concerned made an unprovoked attack on a kennel handler and after careful consideration it was decided that the dog should be humanely put down." If any dog made an unprovoked attack on any person it would more than likely be given a destruction order by the court. Unfortunately for the handler's family they have emotional involvement which makes their opinion biased. What would you all say if the appeal is successful and the dog savages a child whilst out for a walk, or even kills a child? How guilty would you all feel then knowing your support saved Saxon and gave him that opportunity, think on... Don't get me wrong, I love dogs, have two myself, but Gwent's decision would not have been made lightly and would be their last option.
  21. Marked police vehicles are either white or silver. Unmarked ones can be any colour. I would guess you saw a doctor's car.
  22. What you have to remember is that nothing reported on by the press is ever 100% accurate. The majority of police dogs are kept by the handler when the dog is retired. A dog 5 years old is way below the normal retirement age so there must be issues with the dog, I would assume it is too dangerous now and uncontrollable. All police dogs are "dangerous dogs" per se, hence handlers requiring licences. Putting the dog down will be the last option. People are always too eager to believe bad press when police are involved. Not unlike some people commenting on the JAE incident when they weren't even there, chinese whispers springs to mind!
