I think it depends on if you put them in series or parallel. If you put a resistor in series with each LED then you will reduce the current and hence the brightness even more. I would have draw a circuit diagram, if you tell me what you want I could try and work something out.

From my calculation, ie 12V supply and not wanting more than 25mA current then you would need 480 Ohm resistor (or the closest available, can't remember what they are available in.) For brighter LED's in a different run then use a smaller resistor but from the table I would assume you would burn them out so that means in the brighter run you would need the 480 Ohm and in dimmer runs you would just use bigger resistors. HTH, I think I have got it right but will stand corrected.

Scotty retrimmed his and then sprayed the vinyl I believe. Karl300zx had his retrimmed in leather and that has seams but bends around door panels. I retrimmed mine without seams, a hairdryer helps to warm and stretch vinyl. I would be prepared to sell my UK interior for exchange panels.
