Britain will be first country to monitor every car journey
I can see where you are coming from but I also feel the police are greatly under resourced and tragically can't deal with every call as efficiently as the tax paying public deserve.

Who is being investigated? That's my point you are not.

The police should not have to find criminals, everyone out there should do there bit a prevent crime. Prevention is far better than detection. Also, how many camera's are there, hundreds of thousands, maybe more. You are viewed by one several times a day, have you been out, dropped some rubbish? Probably but did you get prosecuted for littering....NO! Probably be the same for speeding and other offences that the system COULD identify. I still think some people are paranoid and believe that they always being watched and scrutinised. Again if this was the case you would all no doubt be in receipt of £80 disorder penalties for swearing at someone in public!

Apparently it is a Toyota Supra owner in one last final attempt to get rid of his car to the unsuspecting. Let's face it the words 300ZX in a for sale thread instantly attract more attention.

Well I for one have to abide by the DPA and that is reinforced by the Human Rights Act, I do work for one of those agencies and feel that some people try to argue there beliefs on their personal feelings as opposed to fact.

I do believe the DPA would apply to all those agencies. Does anyone on the forum work in any of those fields and could add there knowledge of DPA?

"Prat" - Strong words, well evidenced. :x: There is also the Data Protection Act which will prevent access to such information without justifiable cause. ie Speeding will not be in the public interest because of the overwhelming amount of people who do and the amount of work involved pursuing it, however they would maybe go through data to locate a murderer who was driving a red F reg Ford Escort through Sheffield, for one possible example.

I personally don't care, if you aren't doing anything wrong you will not get any problems. They can introduce identity cards and I won't lose any sleep, none of these things take away your identity. They are designed to make it harder for the "criminals" and result in a safer country for the law abiders. People need to stop being paranoid.

which resistor!!
You can manipulate resistance by placing them in series and parallel but at the moment the equation escapes my memory but if a value like 5 was required it could be done. However how did you come to the conclusion of requiring 5 Ohms? I assume voltage is approx 12 volts so what current is required and I can work out resistance to achieve that from Volts = Amps x Resistance. Hope this makes sense?

Some advice please fellas
Looks clean enough but I wouldn't touch an import auto especially with that mileage. I recommend being very patient and view as many as you can.

What area are you from? I recommend subscribing, money well spent and I'm sure someone would pop along and view the car with you?

Some advice please fellas
I think the model to avoid would be an auto import as they dont have separate oil coolers for the gearbox like the UK auto's.
-
Some advice please fellas
I personally would try and find a UK model, slightly cheaper to insure but not always in the best condition however in reality and the fact they are only available as imports would be to get a short wheel base twin turbo manual.
