Ok, got her booked in at zedworld on the 15th of september, for the pcv's, and diagnostic check.... Hopefully driving away with a non-smoky, well running, head-turning redzed.... finger, toes and manjewels crossed.... :D

that's good to know, my engine's done less than 5k since new! :D

Here she was yesterday at the mot.... you can almost see her smiling here, sat there all passed and stuff... :D

don't hold your breath there pal, he's been at that car for two years, I even went over to help drop the engine in, while I was on my hols at Wemyss a couple of months back... :x:

Ok, I'm not scared of spanner work, god knows I've done enough to the Volvo over the last 6 months, but I look under the zeds bonnet, and I see spaghetti-pipes-and-wires, and to be fair, I've chickened out of doing the PCV's on my own. :headvswal Have any of you cov lads done the pcvs yourself? would you be willing to come round mine, and help me do em? :confused: I've got a huge garage, so weather is not an issue, I've got a crap load of tools, and my fridge is always well stocked with stella, but other flavours of beer will be bought, if needed.... :duffer: I'd really appreciate it, and my garage would be available to the wonderful helpful person, for any time they needed it, for work on their own cars, from then on.... :hyper: And the wife makes a mean cuppa, and s**t hot bacon sarnies.... Can't say fairer than that, can I?

hey del, your car looks spanking in the pics jay sent, and yeh all being well, I'll be up there in the old girl in the month or so... We'll set the streets of Falkirk alight that night, eh?!:dance::dance: I'll be at TRAX 09 at silverstone on the 6th of sept, but I might be taking the Volvo, as I'm more used to her... she passed the mot today, at the first attempt... 2 minor advisories, one for a ball joint, and one for a tyre, funnily enough, on the same side.... sorted.... she'll be on the road from the 1st of september... sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet... :D

heh... the Volvo did a 13.9 at santa pod, last saturday... 4.9s 0-60mph... 7 seats.... moves fridges.... bloody quickly..... :)

lol... I got hammered the night before, and woke up at 1pm hanging.... next one I'll be in the zed.... she passed the mot.... 1st of september, she's on the roads of coventry... :)

... but, I have to change the PCV valves, and yes, I've searched for it... even in the help forum, "PCV VALVES" throws up 425 replies..... after page 5 I got bored.... Is there a "how to..." on here for changing the PCV's? If you can give me link, you'd be saving me much head scratching... thanks in advance.... ps... well chuffed about the mot, she's sat for two an a half years, and shot throught the mot... good car.... *pat-pat-pat* well done car..... :D

you're all gonna be privilidged on Sunday.... heck of an intro to me, but the whole family is coming, 4 kids, the mrs, and the mother in law... I'll not be in the zed, still waiting to get her into the car vets to get the MOT done, and the PCV's at the same time, hoping that'l cure the smoky joe issues she's having... anyway... sunday.. it's a date.. ;)
