  4. hi depending on what you,v had replaced ie if just shocks and springs wich are lower and harder they will put more pressure on stock componets such as ball joints and bushes or it may be a case that there just knackerd if there just dry give em a little spray with some wd40 then jump in and out see if it stops the problem but to be honest if there dry they will be cracked so there knackerd anyway but will give you an idea where its coming from ,new suspension set ups will take time to settle but more like 1 mile apposed to 1000 hoe this helps
  5. the screw on the side is for adjusting the beam i think
  6. hi take the indicator out put your arm through the hole to the back of the light and you,ll find some nuts that you have to un-do and the whole unit will pull out think there 10 or 12mm hope this helps
  7. would just like to point out the same rules apply on red/ blue etc with the wide range of markers out there and coloured t-cut once you,ve coverd the primer colour with the appropiate coloured marker the chips will be hardly noticable please remeber if you use a wax touch up stick paint or polish will not stick to it and if you do decide to have it blown over it can cause paint re -action due to the wax
  8. dont forget the marker first mate elimanates any white or grey primer showing through
  9. hi the best way to hide the chips on black is a black permenet marker sounds strange but really works then go over with some black t-cut/polish, g3 or g10 and most cutting pastes are white so will leave white residue in the chips looking crap, give it a go then tell everyone
  10. seen the car in the flesh and have to say very, very impressive and in alot better condition than the person in the pics (ha ha) sorry jamie could,nt resist
  11. hi if going for the d,i,y arch roll get a tubuler pole and a block of wood ,put the wood across tyre and enter tube between ,put pressure on arch levering of wood and roll tube back and forth gently ,hitting with hammers and dollys can crack paint or create high spots ,gentle and slow is the way not the fast and furious as some like to think:
  12. hi only cat c require v,i,c checks ,and once done will be written on the logbook in the special notes. A cat d or x car should come with log book and wont have anything in the special note section but beware some owners dont surreder log boks so advertise a cat d but when you change owner ship you will then get the letter for a v,i,c meaning cat c also cat c commercial vechiles dont have to have v,i,c checks ,dont ask me why just another way of the gov getting more money out of car users
  13. hi insurance companys write cars off so they know if the car is cat b/c/d or x when agreeing a premium with you if they dont mention the cars worth less why should you and when you take out the policy there agreeing to the value and will gladly take your pennies so if something did happen why should, ent you take theres, also something on v,car and repaired properly can turn out to b a right bargain if you pick a chose carefully and make sure parts are available always price the bits up before buying the car
