  1. hi mate cant really tell on my screen but the panel seems to have alot of little black spots as a spot dent puller has been used a full respray does,nt entail bare metal but what is seen ,rust ,dents ,scuffs etc at the time ,a bare metal respray is available but to be honest you want deep pockets as no -one will price till every-thing is re-vield
  2. guess i must have the force with me lol never had to cut one yet
  3. unless some-ones bojed a bolt in there its a clip ,just keep pulling lol
  4. hi mate its just clips and glue first try and pull up each corner then pull the edge cloest to the window once its a little loose try pulling up on the back edge and just keep working yourself round it will come, when your pulling on it you have got the boot latched as gives you abit more purchase
  5. no theres only the two little ones in each corner that normally snap and the two 10mm be-hind the centre trim where the back of the brake light will be also make sure you disconnect the third brake if fitted and yes plenty of bute force :sweatdrop::lol:
  6. hi mate theres another two bolts in the middle under the cover ,then you have to pull it off rather hard as it has some glue and clips underneath, hth
  7. if you can do the bumper with-out having to colour any where near joining panels you might get away with it not being so noticable, plus bumpers tend to look a shade off anyways if its got to be done edge to edge then good luck lol its a lottery
  8. theres four nuts and a little clip in the middle ,just squeeze togeter when pulling on the light hth
  9. can show you plenty of burns lol, make sure you get a good mask aswell, cant go wrong really with the seally stuff, very good value for the money plus spare torches and spares are cheap, will have to agree gas-less are sh*t hth
  10. yes stick some sealer over the holes before fitting i always ruff up the paint and the spoiler ,once fitted and gone off put a thin bead all way round to stop water getting in ,none need on the rear though as the rubber strips go in there that run across the top of the lights, plus make sure you can still get these in before the glue sets lol
  11. hi plastics always show a diff shade, some colours worse than others but to be honest any pearl cant be matched un less the same person does it the exact same amount is put on even in the exact same way some-times you can blend the colour but never edge to edge, plus the more pearl the more it changes and angles play a major part as one way it looks o.k and from another it can be way off
  12. it was so funny,he forget about that the famous zedworld in tamworth lol
  13. got another fan here then noticed you dropped in a couple of names:tongue_smilie:
  14. hi mate being a 2+2 i would of thought the belts need to be there ,but it does,nt say passengers have to be comfy lol so a bit of foam and material missing should ,nt make no odds just make sure all the belt bolts are tight and secure
  15. and if it does turn out to be stolen, expect a morning call from the boys in blue:whistling::detective:
  16. hi pal if your mate works in the trade he can get the paint cheaper than you can he,s either trying to get yu to buy it to prove howmuch it costs or he aint really intrested sorry to sound blunt but have to give this excuse to alot of people my-self when they want a bumper or so-on TOUCHING-UP any way back to the colour go for vauxhall signal green near enough bang on to kwack green but a ready mix colour so cheaper
  17. the idea of spoting with mig is drill a hole in the new panel and weld it to the old panel filling in the hole penatrating on to the old panel hence if you drill all the way through makes much harder as nothing to weld to
  18. hi mate the idea is to only drill through the panels you will be taking off this way when you offer the new panel up you only have to spot the panel on ,if you drill all the way through then youll have to plug weld the two panels together alot harder work filling in holes with weld also as above get it as straight as poss before removing and trial fit everything before you go to made with the welder try and work out direction of impact and reverse with pulling hope this helps andgood luck
  19. hi had one for two years painted it thahti blue with gold pearl on top with gold monza wheels it was trully stunning and showed alot of people up was on its third turbo when sold it though, still loved it to bits only reason i sold it was could,nt fit a pushhair in the back would love another though problms an all
  20. silver or black on white, silver, chrome ,or gold on black ,white on red work. but maybe not on the zed, white on white i,d have say NO
  21. understand you want to take the challenge on but full respray will cost more in cans than your estimating plus any bodyshop will not want to take on the job if it goes wrong with-out stripping all the paint you,ve put on, back-off , which will cost as celly and singe pack can only be described by myelf as flatting bubble gum cause it does,nt seem to really dry and does,nt seem to keep its shine i admit you have seem to got a really really good finish on the bumper though
  22. look into how much it will cost in cans to do the lot might find it not much cheaper than getting a self prep done at a proper bodyshop
