  1. oops, sorry, I misunderstood.
  2. I'l give them a look, cheers.
  3. I did the same thing, no they don't fit.
  4. My renewal came through this week. 92TT I'm 48 with max no-claims and fully comp. last year £340, this year £1186.That was NFU Mutual. Have a guess how many words I used when I phoned them.
  5. As explained to me: The boost guage measures the pressure in the intake manifold. On tickover it shows a negative presure, because the engine is sucking air and in effect, trying to cause a vacuum in the intake. When you run on boost, the turbos are forceing air into the intake, creating a positive pressure, like blowing up a balloon. I think thats about right, hope it of some help.
  6. You have to use a HDMI cable, scart and the white yellow red plugs wont give you HD
  7. Thanks, you have made it look quite simple. Had a quote from a tyre fitter, £75.00 per wheel. I've been pumping mine up every day.
  8. They are now saying it's a hoax, a pro-mo for his new film. Hope so.
  9. This happened to mine, I replaced the wiper motor and all was fine. I was told that the "pin" inside the motor was either dirty or worn and no longer "being seen" by the reciever, there for, it was not moveing, so it didn't need to stop.
  10. Are they easy to fit?
  11. Hey peeps, How can I tell what injectors are fitted, where do I get bigger ones if I need them, and how do I fit them? Or have I got it wrong, it sounds like pinking when I turn the boost up to around 15psi and give it a boot full. Cheers:wacko:
  12. Thanks, that seems to make a bit of scence, tho I dont know why...
  13. They dont wave back because that are only driving a z, not a ZX
  14. Some good ones there, I got one the says "the car in front is fukn fast"
  15. It is as I bought it, and said to have air filter, racing ecu, single exhaust system, programable 4 channel boost controller with the high setting at 1.2b. I normally run ch1 30% and ch2 60% then there is ch3 80% and ch4 100%=1.2b. I cant stop ch3 hitting the limiter and ch4 sounds like its pinking so they dont get used.
  16. So that would bring it back to 300ish, I don't think mine is making it with the boost turned off. it is gesstemated at 450, would a standard engine take that much?
  17. would that be with parts, or are thay extra?
  18. The first idea sounds safer, dont go buggering about with the brakes if they are working fine.
  19. Driving slow for once is ok, but only once.
  20. I had to go to Milton Keynes from Slough, and back. M4, M25, M1 but I forgot about the road works. 50mph most of the way, so boreing, but instead of the normal 50 miles to a quarter of a tank, I did the complete trip of 117 miles on a third of a tank. Wont be doing that again, far to economical.
  21. If you want to reply to these things, check your fone credit/bill first, then check it after replying. You might get a bit of a shock.
  22. I've got 235/45x17 and 275/40x17 It feels very stable.
  23. Lovely looking car. The mileage difference you found, could it be 54k-miles and 120k-km, Just a thought.
  24. Have you had a play with tyre presures, made a big difference on mine.
  25. Black is the meanest colour for the Z.
