Hmm, i'll have to have a closer listen to the engine for that ticking. I haven't had any issues with the gearbox yet & have definately tested it about 3.5k :D The work on the sills looks pretty tidy like.

Lol, I think a bit of planning may be required for us all to be on that roundabout, sat at the lights at the same time! It's whoever's is parked just off Thornaby Road. It looked nice like, but I just had a quick look in case it looked like I was going to nick it or something!

Anyone able to organise a rolling road meet? I'm wanting to get mine on at some time in the near future and a meet would be a good chance :dance:

Cheers for all the positive replies everyone. I thought the car would probably have made an appearance on here before, is there any hidden history I might need to know about? e.g. crash damage, overheating/head gasket issues etc?

I've got no accurate figures, only what the dash says and what the previous owner told me which is 15psi at the moment.

Yeah, it's a manual. At the moment, it's been remapped\chipped at ZedWorld, had twin dump valves fitted (can't remember the brand off the top of my head) and a stainless exhausts from the cats back. Gonna get it on a rolling road at some point to see what kind of power it's putting down, as I'd like to see what the above has done to it. Aye, we'll have to meet up for a chat at some point, the only other Z I've seen in the area is a grey one in Thornaby.

Hi all, Picked up my first 300zx TT 2+2 last week. It's my third car after owning: BMW e36 316i M-Tech BMW e39 530i Sport Very impressed with the car, the bodywork and interior all needs cleaning up, but under the bonnet is sound and had a lot spent on it by the previous owners. Anyway, here's the specs: 1992 UK Twin Turbo Black leather seats Stupid half-retrimmed dash\door cards GReddy Turbo Timer Twin Dump Valves Remapped at ZedWorld Stainless quad exhaust from cats-back) 18" Staggered deep dish alloys (235 Front, 265 Rear) Motorised Kenwood Monitor & 6 disc CD changer Rear light conversion (Lambo\Ferrari style?) Stuff bought but yet to use/fit: 6000k HID dipped beam kit Gliptone leather cleaner, conditioner and dye Stuff to buy: Material to retrim dash\doors Windows seals (torn on both sides of car) Stuff to do: CLEAN! : Exterior to have all the old wax\cleaners stripped off, degreased, then machine polished, hand polished, a good layer of protectant followed by a good wax. Interior needs a good shampoo, retrim and wipe down. The leather seats are going to be conditioned and colour-washed to bring the leather back to life. That's about it really, well chuffed with the car and I look forward to driving it every day!:hyper:

Hey all, brand new member here, just picked up the car and haven't had the chance to do a formal introduction yet (I'll save it for the newbies section). Anyway, couldn't believe my eyes today when a purple 300ZX pulled up next to me at the traffic lights on the above roundabout around 1pm today. I'm assuming it was Paulzx as there aren't that many purple Z's about! Hello mate! Nice looking car - don't judge mine yet, it's looking a bit tatty as I've only owned it a week, but nothing a good bit of machine polishing, elbow grease and a ridiculous amount of cleaning products won't solve :D
