  1. Yeah!-was going to do the same, but the warning light is a good idea I reckon! Box should be to the right of the ECU.reading more of the above, some say to leave the box in and unplug a small connector, looks like I'll be unplugging first!
  2. That's the idea, plus the hicas pipes on mine were leaking so 2 birds and all that!
  3. AH!-found it,looks easy then!:sorcerer: http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/general/view/2199825/Link-inside.html

  6. Not so shiny in this shitty weather!!
  7. Well the good news is it fits!-this is the kit, I was worried the arms looked weedy in the ad but they are 14mm so happy with that! Just a quick measure to set up the arms when fitted, Then took off the old rack, valve,Solenoid etc. The bar fitted, this needed one hole elongated about a mm to fit but that's the only issue I had. Next job was to remove the outer ball joints, this is how I do them, takes 10 mins each. The 'Top-hat' alloy inserts then fitted along with the arms, Adjusted to the measurements taken and I have a tight arse! So all in all I'm happy with the Quality, fit etc.Time will tell if it's up to the job! Thought I would Waxoyl the sills whilst on the ramp, drilled a couple of holes into the sill, pushed a 5' long pipe down and filled em' LOL!-a couple of grommets to bung the holes and undersealed over! Got home and fitted new injector plugs, what a PITA job!-these are the plugs I used, need a bit of modding but at £3 each was a cheap alternative! and they won't fall off! Tomorrow I fit the new PTU and hope that's the misfire sorted!:sweatdrop:
  8. Woohoo!-I'll be fitting the ''Bycas'' Tomorrow, will put up the results!

  15. As said-that is worst I have seen!-not helped by the crappy repairs done before! Prices as they are mate, buy another for what you will make in bits off your old one!
  16. Cheers Daz, as you can guess nowt to do with the PTU and what I did Saturday!-but will still fit it and new injector plugs and it's a bit more of the 20 year crap gone!!

  19. Got home and got straight into the Z,cracks up fine, then steadies as she warms up and then WALLOP! the misfire starts:pinch: I intended just cutting off the PTU plugs etc ready for Daz' series 2,then I here it, tick,tick,tick..... So off went the lights got my eyes used to the dark and enjoyed the fireworks! No'3 coil is fubar, sparking out the side,so off to the local Z spares (cheers AL) And back with a couple of Coilpacks.Sorted,so I thought.Better but not there, wiggled the siliconed on injector plugs (yes you read right) and it's all over the shop! pulled off three plugs and they are Green/fooked! Started up again and loads better!-but not right............... Lights out again, WHAT?-no'1 coil is fecked too!-changed that and BINGO!:chinese:-was that chuffed I fitted my Apexi, went up the road and nearly lost it! New injector plugs from work Tomorrow methinks!
