Some might know I fitted this last week but not really happy with the finish. So Today I thought I would tidy it up and an idea hit me! (groan!) Was getting some guages so I thought why not mount em' in here as well!,didn't want a 'flat' panel so I used 3 cheapy pods and mounted them at an angle for better visibilty,first was to trim the surround to get the pods in,they are then Superglued to hold em' until the Bridge filler goes in! Then a bit of filler front and back,they are now solid! The finish filling started,not getting any better at this! LOL! This shot shows the mounted angle..... Getting there........ And a quick waft to show the imperfections up,not sure it will be black yet we'll see! Just need some nice blue guages now!..................

Comet 550 IIRC!-or 450,look on hella site the dimensions are there too! Need a fair bit of modding to fit.:biggrin:

Not sure mate, if braking or not-not a prob to unplug it tho' is it?-I don't need a Bong!:laugh: Deffo didn't move the needle it's to light a movement,I'll try moving it with the ignition on and if all else fails I'll put the Jap one in!:sweatdrop:

TBH mate,you'll do bloody well welding body work with an Arc welder-Mig is what you need! If you must try, smallest rods poss and amps to suit.............:ph34r:

Are they different?-can't get my head around why the uk one jumps to 1k just with ignition on??? Hoping for an easy fix or the lot comes out again to fit the jap one back in!:wacko: And the 'Bong box' is it the one fitted behind the binnacle on a metal bracket?-going to unplug it as it bongs everytime I slow down!:lol:

Put this into a spare facia weeks ago!-so Today I got it fitted in the car.......... Not happy with the trim tho' need to look into that.........:sweatdrop:
