Boldy[cheers dude] managed to snaffle a golf h/level brake lamp,so the plan was to fit it in the tailgate skin...................and bugger me it fits! :D Marking the hole.. The hole!! This shot looking up shows the two springs I used to hold the light in place-easy to remove if needs be. And that's it done,loads better,sorted the reverse lights as well ;)

Want to fit a eliminator bar-thats the easy bit! I also want to remove the solenoid unit on the inner wing-So the question is- anyone done this using the original pipes or will I need some made up to by-pass the solenoid assy? Oh! and pics would be nice! :D Cheers, Darren.

Been trying to think how to do my reverse lights and came up with this to help break up the ''blandness'' on the back end! First take your drill and...... Next make the holes to match those in front panel :D Then take the spare indicator units I had and rob the lenses! Stick these on the inside and seal em' up watertight. Now I just need to find two light units to fit at the rear of em! Hmmmm........wonder if I can get a brake light in the t/gate skin?.............. :wack:

Totally agree with this!,though JP ain't the only mag that went downhill. Lax power,many moons ago was a regular for me,then the same thing happens every issue had escort with kits on em' or the regulation corsa! I now prefer reading the likes of RETRO cars as these seem to be more willing to get their hands dirty. :)
