Yes they make alloy spigot rings,now most are plastic. Yes they are probably well set in there with corrosion, give em' a whack,you've nothing to lose............

Don't know where the cost of a Yank and the jap stuff including loom etc is roughly the same! LOL! Roughly double it for the jap gear IMHO!
