You don't-but from experiance, when I fitted an aftermarket ecu I never bothered taking the convertor off and the speedo didn't read any different! So basically I'm guessing here!-could depend on the chip I s'pose?

You can get a 'universal' base plate mate-basically a piece of plastic you cut to size! LOL! If your gonna fit em' to your base plates bud-go steady!!-there aint a lot of 'meat' on em'! can be done tho' look here......http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=48109 :D

I would be tempted to strip it first mate-in case the metal stubby pipes are corroded as well! ;)

The P.C.D bud!-if you drew a line thru' the bolt holes to form a circle then measure the diameter it gives 108! :) Et (whatever) is the offset,either positive or negative. And it's not the tyre size mate, it's the rims :D HTH!

Either your spindles are worn :eek: -or the linkage assy, or both! :o :D You sure the wiper arm is tight on the spindle?
