Ouch !! i feel for you! I hit my wood chisel a few weeks ago, but the handle had come away about 10mm from the metal bit, so when i twatt@d the handle it squashed against my skin between my thumb and finger, and i couldnt get it off, whichever way i pulled it hurt like fook!!! took 6 mins of ridiculous pain and i had to seperate it with another chisel with one hand!! OMG never again, massive blood blister!!!! Daz

Hi Baz, Funny you say that, I drove to PhilP`s today as he has datascan and we did a test, and we both laughed as i said it sounded like a subaru!! But it was just running really lumpy hot and cold!! probably a bit more lumpy when warm, It back fired when revved and stunk of fuel!!, we discovered it wasn`t firing on cylinder no2, so i went home and swapped the plug, and she runs like a dream now!! she runs a little fast on idle and splutters a bit on full boost, but i reckon she needs a good drive out, as i`ve been using my vert all summer. Hope you get your`s sorted soon mate DaZ.

After nearly a week of changing coil packs, airflow meters, ptu`s, ecu`s around on my TT, I realised the only thing i havent done is to change the spark plugs which are only 12 months old and are ngk-r platinums, i have cleaned them twice and set the gaps correctly. So today i swapped the offending number 2 spark plug and hey presto thats all it was!! what a :xxx: i am? So big lesson, check the sparkys first!!! DaZ

Hi Guys, just letting you know Isaac and i have decided to break the yellow banana! we did consider getting her running again as the car is a good example, but too many engine bits are missing and wires have been cut :( Most of the parts will be getting sold via this club and feabay as we think this is the fairest way of splitting the money. Isaac will post some pictures later, but i think you can start the bidding with dibs and offers!! :dance: Only one problem at the moment, as the car is on Isaacs drive, his dad doesnt want the place to look like a scrap yard, so we will be stripping internals first and body panels later, but all should be done in about 3 weeks!! We reckon engine is goosed as too many bits have been taken off and messed with, and cant test the auto gear box, but box oil is clean All the money we make is going to a good cause, :D `THE Nurburgring trip next year!!!`:D Lammy pie has dibs on the centre panel, offers please :D and Groover wants the rear hatch, but how do we get it to IOW? :D Other good bits we noticed!! 1. After market oil cooler :D 2. Impul hi-power control unit ECU, 3. BIG yellow rear spolier, 4. Apexi Induction kit, SOLD To me, Dazvert :D 5. Streamlined wingmirrors (dont know the make) 6. 4 Perfect original wheels with mint tyres 7. Air flow meter 8. 4 coil packs, we might keep 2:) just for spares 9. big bore stainless exhaust And all the other bits are up for dibs!! DaZ

Well Groover, I think your the man to design it and make loads of money, cause if you do make it work, book me in for a rear light conversion!!! I think they would look coooool :) DaZ.:)

Well said Munny :) Just to follow on from what you wrote; I have done quite a few track days, mostly in my 200sx, and also done a lot of karting and won trophies, and they are FANTASTIC fun,, however I will be taking no risks at all on the Nurburgring, I am not going trying to break any records, I will be just driving for the experience of driving the ring, even if a 1.1 Fiesta passes me, i will just be proud of actually making it there and also the thrill of a road trip with my mates from the 300zx club, I cannot wait!! roll on next year!!!
