I just used some stuff from Halfords mate, p38 easy sand, fibreglass kit, some smoothing knives, electric detail sander, and some very fine sandpaper, high build pimer hides a lot of nasties, but as i said i gave it to the body shop for the final finish as i kept getting dust dropping in my paint, they have the right enviroment to spray stuff :cool3:

I can count about 11 maybe 12 around here!! Zx-eyes has 2 on his drive, Philp has 2, i have 5 (2 non-runners if that counts) a fella at the garage round the corner has 1 and I`m meeting a lad from e-bay to buy some bits tommorow and he has one too and another lad has one parked up on his drive for about 5 years now never moved. common as muck around here:mellow: Saying that, I very rarley see them on the road though :sad:

I did! if you look closley on the first pic you can see the 1st layer of fibreglass, its see through and hard to see, i forgot to take the pics when building the fibreglass up :wink:

The synthetic would certianly smell a lot less :yes: but go for it mate, it will probably be good and a few people said its better and doesnt ware as much!!! I was tempted, but opted for the factory standard :wink:

As it came from a Pakistan sweat shop i doubt there will be any Import duty? its normally from the States is it?

Just go for it, yes I`ve done a lot of travelling and had 8 months out once! just me and the girlfriend travelled round the world! god how i miss it, i wont go into full detail, but the last few months were spend around California, we picked a Cavalier up from Lax and drove Sandiago, palm springs, all the national parks, Vegas, Yosemite, all over and ended up in Sanfran, absolultey Awesome!!, we then went to Vancouver and picked a Convertable Sebring and drove over the rockies into Calgary and then New york!!! Just do it dude, Save as much as you can for the hire car it makes it so much more enjoyable when you have a nice set of wheels!!

Just arrived from Usa...errrrrr well Pakistan!! and it smells like its been dragged through a zoo on a horses weapon!!! BUT despite the smell the leather is soooo soft and really well put together!! the stitching is faultless and the logo is great too, I took it all to the upholsters today but it was closed so had a go myself taking the old material off to save a little labour time!!:thumbup1: Over all i am well pleased, with quality ,price and delivery time, top marks!!

Out of the 2 I prefer your current one`s, but if I was to buy new then i would choose something totaly different, there are some awesome wheels on the market at the moment, get something different that no-one else has got :yes:
