Hi Guys, would anyone use Quinton Hazell parts on there zed, ie, cam belt, water pump ect? Just that I`ve never heard of them? and I`ve always used Nissan parts. Thanks.

Thanks Ant, I`m just going through the engine bay tidy job and got rid of all the nastys and going for a look very similar to yours :bow:, I really want to copy but I cant,(copycat and all that) and to be honest I cant find a better colour than you have chosen:no: So my search goes on to find the right one, ahhhhhhhh, yours is just soooo nice bud, love it!! No, you lot dont get it, I get in my vert on a summers day and cruise!!! no stress, no speed , just slow and civilised and reliable, I get into my TT and rag, it feels like it will blow up any minute but on that day i dont care, its adreneline, I would never have a sick top, they feel clostrobhibic and they ruin the pleasure of t-bars or open top motoring for me and thats what its all about for me IMO IMO, No disrespect for any zeds they are all great, but for me its just 2 options.

I dont think they are weirdo`s, I think they like experimenting and have money to burn, I have been watching there builds for ages, very impressive stuff, heres another project they made, all hand built

Only a few thing I dont like, and you picked up on most of them, the RED interior!! it should be matching the 3rd colour of the cill line and handle, I sort of strangley like the engine cover but would never have it myself, but do admit it looked sooo much better when it was black

:gunsmilie: I know of a nice V8 sat in a barn 2 miles from my house, I could have it for a few bob, maybe a future project :tongue_smilie: He also has a v12 that was getting fitted in my dads Escort van, but it never materialised I do come from a family of modders thinking about it, my dads old ezzy van had a x3ri engine in it!!!!
