I dont know - he said the prop shaft had been replaced and it cost them £120 ..... do i assume that this is incorrect?

I have just bought a 1990 N/A import in the Bristol area. When I first looked at the car it was showing the signs of the prop shaft vibration problem - the dealer has fitted a new prop shaft and the vibration is better....but is still annoying. Do I assume that the gearbox rubber mounts need to be changed also????? Anyone know of any specialists in the bristol area who could help diagnose the problem further? Thanks for any help.

Air Flow converters .. WTF are they all about?
I have an S-AFC 1 on both my cars. They are only useful when you have altered the air flow into the vehicle (induction kit or the like). On some vehicles, adding an induction kit changes the air flow beyond the constraints of the original ECU. Often the ECU then works the injectors overload....as a default setting hence the engine will run rich. The results of adding an AFC are dependant on other mods and the vehicle you are installing on. Power gains can be 0 ....sometimes they can be very good... One thing I would advise is to have it setup on a rolling road. Apexi can supply default settings for your AFC in certain applications (such as AFC with an APEXI induction kit on car X use these settings.......xxxxx). I followed these settings for an Altezza RS200 and gained 3BHP, took it to a rolling road and they gained 12BHP. Just my 2pence worth....hope it helps.

Thanks for your input/advice. I currently own a modified MR2 Turbo....after having owned a Supra N/A. My Mr2 is considerably faster than the Supra....but doesnt quite look as good....IMO On the other hand I think the Zed's are gorgeous looking cars ...offering more than a big rear wing and wide flared arches......it's just that little bit more subtle than the Supra and GTO. I borrowed a TT 300ZX for the weekend and was amazed by the amount of torque it had.....but essentially I'm not a big racer and do not feel the extra power is essential for me these days. I take it that the 300ZX N/A is similar in performance to a non-Turbo Supra?
