No wind up, just the log book said 300ZX TURBO, and the engine bay is rammed, also i'am very far from being a mechanic, the Z is fitted with a boost controller, so i simply tuned it down a little, and before i bought the car i read as much about them as possible, not trying to wind anyone up just thought i could tap into a little of your combined experiance and knoledge, Dom

also turned the boost down as the car scares the sh?t out of me when the turbo's kick in the acceleration is out of this world, the car seems to drive perfect and is very smooth, would'nt there be loss of power or lumpy running if the turbo seal had gone? anything i could check. oh and the oil is clean no mayo or anything. thanks all, Dom

Hi all yes mine is a 1992 z32, thanks all, just been outside fiddling with the motor, i should of just looked, i turned the boost down as it was set at around 14psi and with the fact that it is smoking thought its for the best, the smoke is mainly coming from drivers side exhaust, the backbox is connected by about 2ft of flexi pipe, the smoke is white, do you think ots the turbo that sits on that side or could it be pcv valve's or the flexi please say either option 2 or 3 lol, the smoke is cloudy white in colour can't see any light blue smoke.

Hi all i have just got a 300zx and dont know if its twin turbo or single its a 1992 2+2 the logbook just says 300zx turbo, ???

Damn i love this site, my car is in need of some tlc, just can't beleive just how good it is to drive, and the power is stupid, on that note i want to reduce my boost and was wondering as my turbo seal might have had it what psi should i run her at. hope its the pcv but how many people have said that lol. thanks for the welcome. zedworld, do you know how much i'll need for them to look at her, and in my thread i meant to say pcv valve's. the car still drives perfect and does'nt miss a beat or feel strange, how much are the turbo seals to get replaced, i love the car and am defo keeping her, smoke or no smoke lol.

Hi every one, i've got a 300zx tt and it seems to have white smoke comming out the exhaust when on idle or when coming to a stop at traffic lights, other then the smoke, the car runs great no weird noise's, the v6 is very very smooth, no smoke on hard acceleration, just when at a stop, i've been told fcv valve's, any idea's people, thanks for reading.

Hi all, new to this site & also to the 300zx, i am well into my cars and have had so many over the years, recently i purchase a K plate 300zx twin turbo, and have got to say i love it, there are a few things need doing to her, as she smoke's when idle'ing or when stationary, seems to go as soon as i start driving, dont see any smoke when the turbo's kick in either, just when comming to a stop, Look at me the newbie bugging people all ready lol.
