  1. I know it might be a bit weird, but does your central locking work and your interior light. Just asking as I know of a case when the central locking fuse went, this meant that unlocking the car manually did't communicate with the alarm and thus it would not release the immobiliser
  2. Is it oil or PAS fluid? Trying to remember where the alternator is LOL
  3. Cant stand either team so i home the both have a big fight and all the players knock each other out, would be more intresting
  4. Found the key but may need it to find all the missing screws though LOL
  5. Mine is working now but im not sure what the reason was as I went out swapped over several componants, cleaned every connector and re-did the ignition wiring. I think yours is alarm related, where mine wasnt. If you need to get somewhere just run a direct feed to the fuel pump as a temp measure
  6. Happy Birthday
  7. how many miles have you done on the PCV's? When does it smoke idle?
  8. wire it to the mains LOL
  9. took her up the dual carridgeway and something flew off the roof. When i got back I asked my wife if she had put anything on my roof and she said my keys for my other car. So had to walk up the central reservation to find em. DOH
  10. Yay, dont actually know what the problem was and I basically did a bit of everything to try and erradicate my non start problem. And turned they key and she fired up :) About time. Now i need to put her back together as there are screws, wires and panels everywhere
  11. he probally asked her why she was going out with such a ****er LOL
  12. Do you have your inner rear brake lights wired up as fog lights? If yes then thats the reason, if No then its a bad connection somewhere
  13. Im having major problems with the electric my car has got, ill hang myself if the whole car was electric lol
  14. Why would you look for sure deodrant on ebay when its only 99p round the shop
  15. Cheers ill try that next.
  16. I did take the CAS out an Manually spin it, the injectors clicked. Haven checked for a speark yet as I need to go an buy the right socket. Mind you I have spare spark plugs, so shall i just connect one of them to the coilpack and crank the engine.
  17. Cam Belt looks OK, it was checked by Zedworld when it was there in Feb and Jeff said it looks pretty new. Could it be a duff CAS?
  18. OK after fitting a replacement PTU, nothing.... So went back to testing the wires for a 12v live, one of the orange ones did have a 12v live, but after yesting my spare with a direct feed and earth, found that the 12v live readinf wire isnt the one that powers the pump. Direct fed the pump in the car and its started whiring. turned car over whilst it was wiiring for about a minute or 2 and it still ont start. I really cant think what could be the culprit, i checked wires and everything im im getting pretty fed up with this shit car. bloody silver one was a 10th of the heap of shit this one is and i broke that one with tax, mot and working fine.
  19. TBH I'm not very good at testing for electrical parts, I have a multimeter but apart for checking for a 12v feed I'm useless with it. I did test the plug that connects to the fuel pump and got 11.8v from one of the wires. The fuel pump had a live feed attached to it, off the car and it whirred up and pumped fuel out. The 5 wires into the back of the ignition have been checked as per the online manual, they are all in the correct order and each one seems to do what it was supposed to, the car was working fine after the ignition was rewired. I should have a PTU being delivered today and will try that next. If that fails i will have to call my uncle who is an auto-electrician to help, but i dont often talk to him.
  20. I wired the fuel pump directly when it was out of the car and it worked fine.

Kids is from Care Home so its quite likely he was from a broken, abused childhood. Quite of these kids in care are pretty ****ed up and TBH this is quite minor compared to some of the stories over the years I've heard from care home kids. My mum has run a Care home for 28 years and my wife works in one too and sometime its not suprising these kids are wayward, the parents need a good kick in. Mind you discipline in care homes is non existant, they cant touch the kids, they cant even stop them leaving the unit.
  22. I have a PTU arriving tomorrow after that im foxed.
  23. Havent tested for a spark but if there is no fuel being delivered it wouldnt matter lol
  24. plug seems fine even changed the fuel pump and no difference
