  1. Well done mate - be careful of the acetone - nasty stuff. All my panels are now removed, the tweed stripped off and the glue cleaned away. Only problem now is the leather to re-trim them all won't be in stock until the end of August :headvswal Still it'll give me plenty of time to wire in the sub and it's amp, new speakers, the speed detector, additional 12 volt power sockets, grounding kit and rear fog light

    HB HP :duffer: :)
  15. It says on the bottle to leave for 30-60 mins but I found that even as I was brushing it on the old glue was beginning to come off :) Powerful stuff indeed. And a top tip when using it - use it a VERY well ventilated area and wear rubber gloves. It looks like I may have some left over if anyone wants some bringing to JAE.
  16. You're right it's not :headvswal but it still fookin works brill
  17. I'm in the process of removing all the tweed from the panels and then cleaning off the old glue. As it's rather hard work scrubbing the old glue off I went and bought some of this and it's absolutely brilliant  Does exactly what it says on the tin ie bottle  You can see the results I had in the 3rd photo showing a cleaned up panel You can get it from CPC - http://cpc.farnell.com/jsp/endecaSearch/partDetail.jsp?SKU=SA00733&N=411
  18. And to think I was gonna take some Haribo Starmix to JAE -
  19. Fantastic looking Zed mate - love those alloys
  20. Cheers Vini I've found this link as well http://www.area450.com/softwaremods/dvdtoaudiocd.html which may help me to get the job done. If all else fails I'll hook up the audio out from a dvd player into my Yamaha Hi-Fi cd recorder and do it that way.
  21. They are music DVD's with video ie concerts etc. I would like to be able to make an audio CD of them to play in the car and also to convert then to MP3 (which I can do in Windows Media Player) - just need them in WAV format first
  22. I have several music DVD's that I would like to extract the music from and create a standard audio CD. Can anyone out there help or advise on how to do this??? Will I need any 3rd party application software at all??? Cheerz
  23. There's been some great new members join recently - but as with any society/community/group, there will always be some who don't want to "play the game" - that's life :( The more people that join and contribute the easier and more pleasant Zed ownership becomes. I'm looking forward to meeting a lot of those I've not met before at JAE and have already made good friends with several people since joining. Group hug.......................... :D
