  1. Im getting so frustrated! :tt2:
  2. Dissappointed Murt...thought you had a vid of you and Si!
  3. Post done and linked to this post.
  4. I like your idea a ton!! I for one dont trust the "adjustable" I shaped aftermarket FUCA's at all. I think they just have to many points of failure , I can think of 8 just off the top of my head. You should post this on 300zxclub.com forums in the US. Or if you dont mind , I will post a link.
  5. I dont think so. I run BF Goodrich Gsports on my Z and tried to get a set of 275/35/18 locally and none were even available. On line I was quoted almost $500 for two.
  6. Damn , cant get mine to Essex  But if you could take out all the background in this pic , Id appreciate it. Can you put a background like a nice home , beach or something like that in? Add a model if you want too :sneaky2:You have some great skills mate. Or would it be better to email you the pic? Thanks again , Andy
  7. Weathermans calling for some real bad Thunderstorms here late tonight mate....Im just going to assume its your Z firing off.
  8. So what is the projected tire smoking date?
  9. Hey Mate , want a few more HP's out of that cam. Google "degreeing a cam in" What you get from the companys as far a duration and timing is not what ends up in a V8. It is rather simple to do. I like what you are doing so far. Cheers
  10. Auto Part store or electrical supply stores carry the stuff. It isnt expensive at all and will save you a lot of headaches when it comes to the electrical gremlins. Clean the connections and put a shot in the coupling....keeps moisture out.
  11. ^^^^Weird , automotive dielectric grease is non-conductive. It is a silicone based lubricant. Permatex # 81150 is what I use.
  12. ^^^^ The "rest of the story" on the oil change would be good to know. I agree , an oil change alone wont fix the problems that were described.
  13. Sorry , hit wrong button on laptop :sneaky2: Make sure you put in the correct amount and clean the connections real good.
  14. Yes , clean the connections and then use some dielectric grease to seal them up. How much oil did you put in the Z when you changed it? European models I believe take http://www.300zx-twinturbo.com/cgi-bin/manual.cgi?list=ma&dir=&config=&refresh=&direction=forward&scale=0&cycle=off&slide=10&design=default&total=33
  15. An overfilled crank case would make it very sluggish. The 100 psi on startup is pretty high , what weight of oil are you running and how much are you filling it with? Maybe this guide will help you to find the sensors that were mentioned earlier. The coolent sensor will make it run like crap on startup if it is bad. Check for corrosion. http://www.z32photoguide.com/
  16. Im not real sure which FUCA's you mates are running but myself and a few in the US have ran into this little problem with some of the FUCA's. http://www.300zxclub.com./showthread.php?t=191054 You will see a link in that thread about how to rebuild , tighten them back up. Hope this helps a few of you.
  17. Thanks Richard. Simon seems to like it too...I know he is banned but he is still my bud. It has been a very trouble free car now since I have owned it.
  18. Here is mine , already FB friends with a few of you guys. http://www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=lf#!/profile.php?id=100000369341515
  19. No , not even sure Edgar is really that keen on his spoiler..the owner of that Z. Something is just off with it even tho Edgars car is one fun car.
  20. that is just to ugly even to try and describe!
  21. ^^^^^Just somehow got to see some vids on Youtube Mate.....Loved "em! Besides building V8 Z's and buying houses you actually have a lot of fun doing it. Jealous!
