Hi guys sad day that when selling my uk 300 t/t 2 guys came from france and bought it,been in touch with them recently. said they had a great drive back to france covering 800 miles,makes you wonder,, why travel all this way for a uk 300 and then export it to france ,dont understand it myself.

hi mate the plate has got to come off as it holds the loom onto the bulkhead..youi will need to totally remove the aircon units and plastic surrounds..easy when youve done it already

no mate ditch it! one less thing to go wrong with the z..ive done it recently no regrets, well one. will now need to get 4 wheel tracking done at a cost of £100.the joys..

hi mate just a pure random question have you had a puncture recently and put some of that instant tyre repair stuff in, i did this on my car and had wheel shake,took to garage thought it needed balanced and he went nuts because he couldnt balance it ,after about half an hour i told him about the puncture.oops.had to clean out all the tyre weld and fix to get the wheel to balance all okay now.nearly a new tyre or alloy.{tyre weld}

hi beermonster i had to strip mines out as had a bad leak on the hicas from front end to rear,was going to be a pain to repair and too expensive,so i replaced it,easier option i thought.

ey well you will probably need a bar lol, def some heat!

funny that yes it seems to be tighter on the road if that makes sense! still crap in the rain lol.seems better and no niggly noises from the hicas..

hi gonzo i used the lockout bar from fastpartz £75,got the tie rods on ebay for £28 for the pair, feels so good to get the hicas off, you will need a good 18mm socket with a decent ratchet, 17mm open spanner for the tie rods, some heat and a lot of swearing..good luck well worth it..

hi it probably took me about 4 hours all in,pain in the arse lying on your back doing it but its done ..going to go out and try it in the rain now lmfao...

Hi just to say a few things about removing the hicas system, absolute nightmare had to get petrol tank deflector plate off first,got 2 bolts off and had to chisel the other 2 off so now no protector plate, main bolts holding the hicas in place stuck solid wd40 and plenty of heat and a strong bar to get them moving,very tight,replaced the tie rods also made the job that bit easier.getting the lockout bar into position quite a job but eventully got it big sye of relief. now brilliant fitted the bypass tube to the front and removed the hicas silenoid easy enough. ye ha no more leaking steering fluid. thats the car almost sorted apart from a respray! just thought i would share my story with you guys...

a different kind of problem , sometimes when i go out in the 300 the cd player works, some times it doesnt, turn the engine off and the ariel goes down,take the face off the cd player and it goes back up, next day its fine again, wow such a stupid thing but drives me nuts, gremlins at it again i think lol.... same issues with the ignition barrel light, sure the car is possessed...

you need to start from the begining ,someone mustve been messing around with it, forget what he has got at the moment and start from stage 1 , piy not in glasgow its a 5 mins fix..

hi you have 4 reds and 3 blacks, 2of the blacks are loop in/out neutrals.looks like they have used 3 reds as 2 way switches, leaving you with a red and a black, they are your switch wires to the pendants,1st find these 2 wires. after that pair the other 2 blacks together. next separete your remaining reds these should be connected to your switch,your live red to common, the other 2 too 1and 2.now connect your switch wires{red and black from the start}to 1 and 2. lol sound easy. thats the easiest way to explain it...hope this helps..

hi craig had one of the gt4 only an earier model it was just one problem after another a bit like a 300 lol, nice drive poor vision and no road presense,prefer my 300 but at the end of my patience with that now..good luck just a lottery finding a good car,,
