Just de-catted!!
:hyper: :hyper: i had mine De-catted a couple of months ago and have a single exit Hks super dragger got pulled by the fuzz and the only thing he said was get a new exhaust as thats too loud :bow: couldnt find any other faults on the car :headvswal he was not impressed when i told him it was a new system :bow:

erm in the need of brakes
ok has anybody used red stuff brake pads and are they ok to use on the road as a daily driver my brakes are standard fit at the moment but if these dont work will probably have to upgrade the whole system

anyone got a se fast road auto box
got me anuprated box after my own exploded probably the best upgrade i made on the car smoother changes more reliable but also upgrade the cooler on the box as well :cool:

HELP! De-cat advice please!
i recently bought some de cat pipes from luke at the Z-centre although these dont have the cats they have small silencers on the pipes so still retain a bit of back pressure and i havnt had a problem with the turbo seals and i seem to have developed a very heavy right foot since buying this car if you get my drift :x: :cool:

whilst using a private track ( very similar to the M5 J7-J8 ) my car pulled very well until the speedo read 265kph then all turbo boost dropped off so i backed off and the same thing happened when i accelerated again is this my geared speed or is the sudden drop in boost another problem ? 93 j-spec tt auto :x: :bow: ( i feel the need for speed )

What PISSES you off on the road?
i hate all those prats who come across 3 lanes to use the slip road as my daily driver is a truck that can weigh as much as 250 tonnes as i deliver trains by road also different types of abnormal loads and unfortunately i tend to push them up the road as i cant fooking stop that quickly :mac1: :nono:

now to avoid all this try driving sensibly and keep the speed down ( oh forgot then there is no sense owning a nice car if we all do that ) :slap:

I got pulled today by a m/c cop in Droitwhich all he said was i was going a bit fast and i ought to change my exhaust as its noisy he didnt even give me a producer thoroughly decent for a copper i thought especially as he was on a bike ( normally hate biker cops ) :x:

zed diagnostics
only recently got the car no real probs as yet ( fingers crossed ) are there any links to se how to use this self diagnostics every body talks about by the way dont know 1 end of a spanner from the other any help is much appreciated :bow:

Ok people need some advice i would like more power and would still like the reliability of a daily driver if thats possible car is stock at the moment just decatted and hks exhaust only mod fitted that i know of is a fast road autobox :rolleyes:

had a set of de-cat pipes from the Z centre cost 220 plus vat sound awesome as have HKS super dragger on the rear gained 22 bhp and being an import dont need the cats on for the mot :bow:

with costs the best piece of advice will be dont buy the first one you see and if poss buy from someone on the forum i didnt and three weeks after buying had to replace the g/box cost £1800 for se nistek upgraded box :bow:

exhaust ? Gearbox ?
ok peeps since i got a new g/box in the car it has been very reluctant to change into top.Since i now have to replace my front down pipes as my cats are shot to bits and its obviously leaking back pressure from the front pipes the gearbox changes quicker and more smoothley so any body know why this is :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused:

ok well mine is a K reg but i thought imports were exempt if not wheres the best place to get a system in the birmingham area :confused:

i have a bit of a problem havnt had the car that long all seems fine mechanically even got a new HKS superdragger on it but both the cats are dead so as this is an import can i de cat it or do i need to replace them and any idea where as the local nissan dealer wants an arm and both me legs :confused: :confused:

severe vibration
Definately not blue and an f reg would be a z31 if im not mistaken but apart from that have been under the car and all bushes and bearings feel fine so am wondering if the diff is on its way out as only vibrates if i floor it and get the power light on in the dash

havnt had the car long but noticed that if i accelerate smoothley every thing appears fine but if i try to put too much power down from standing or try to accelerate quickly while trying to overtake i get a bad vibration fron the rear of the car help please :cry: :cry:

well i still got the cat on mine but have a single exit HKS super dragger and it just sounds brilliant but need to turn up the hifi on a long journey but that is the only downside of the system :bow:
