erm in the need of brakes

ok has anybody used red stuff brake pads and are they ok to use on the road as a daily driver my brakes are standard fit at the moment but if these dont work will probably have to upgrade the whole system

    Porterfield Carbon Kevlar Front Brake Pads are a recomended pad upgrade for the zed. If your current setup is poor then its best to get them inspected. Sticking caliper piston/seals are a common problem on the stock setup.

    EBC are not highly recommended here.

     

    IIRC aren't Red Stuff the ones that only work properly once warmed up. When they are cold the car doesn't stop at all.....

     

    A good stock upgrade are slotted brembo discs from http://www.3gbrakes.co.uk and either Porterfield pads from Smithy or Stillen metal pads (I have these) from MJP, both in the traders sections.
