ha i should have added in the first place that i guessed it was an impul, but i cant find anywhere on the web selling the exhaust or anything like it from impul. i can only find ECU tune ups!

Hi everyone, Im trying to figure out what type/brand of exhaust I have. Thinking of selling up in the near future and want to get the description right! (Yes i no, but im young and as much as i love the car...the fuel and insurance is slowly killing me) Jeff at zedworld said it was an expensive one but i dont remember what actual type he said it was... any input would be good thanks...

i have the same problem and have been driving it like that for ages. you gotta be so careful in the wet because it really can spit you out. need to get to zedworld, they also quoted me about £500.

my first question is why a nissan wingroad? im guessing/hoping that thing cost you under £500. you can get a lot for your money in this day and age when it comes to second hand cars.

you learn from your mistakes though. when im buying a second hand car i have a list of questions written down in front of me that i ask over the phone (at least 10). if i find some of the questions are answered wrong when i arrive, i demand them to pay my petrol for my wasted time.

no matter how silly it is, im still going to end up watching it. perfect for a sunday evening. and its worth it for those moments of brilliance.

Ha oh i see! i was running 15.4, then 15.2, then 15.1. Couldnt break that 14 barrier. Need to spend £280 at Zedworld for the boost leak to be fixed.

Well I thought id advertise it for slightly more than I intend to sell it for just in case someone wanted to pay over the odds for it! But it didnt happen... I have my Zed as my daily driver and as much as i love it, the fuel efficiency and insurance (im 21) is killing me slowly. I think il enjoy it for the summer and maybe try and sell it towards the end of summer. At Thorney I ran a 15 sec 1/4 mile which was slightly disappointing but i do have a boost leak. I also have a video of me dragging a audi A4 and putting it to shame on sunday so il try put that up. Shame i couldn't drag Alex in his zed, he would have won by nearly 2 secs anyway! Was a good day out in the sun...

Yes that was me! Thought there was no harm in advertising to the right crowd on the off chance that someone may be interested! Did your 911 have a number plate like M11 O something? or something along those lines? If so, definitely saw it on the drag strip beating everything!

Didnt see you down there, but I saw the 'green monster' impreza do it in 10.8! It was beating all the bikes! Im going to drag my zed tomorrow... also, might get in dyno'd...but really dont like pushing it to its limits like that. do you think its worth it?

my brother spotted a white zed drive straight past my house in emsworth earlier. possibly madmax? if that beast is finally on the road... shame my zed wasnt outside to see, was in portsmouth at the time!

Hey everyone, Just thought id let everyone no of a pretty good couple of days down south next weekend. http://www.modifiedmadness.co.uk There is a rolling road, the opportunity to participate in unlimited drag racing for around £30 i think, drifting, and many other things going on. I went last year for a couple of hours (i only live a mile away!) and it was a great atmosphere with various modified cars destroying 911 GT3's, ferraris etc. quite embarrassing for those owners though! Its not the classiest event on the calendar, but its definitely is worth checking out if you can make it. Last year a couple of 300zx's turned up (before i had mine, so wasnt interested in who owned them!) I think im going to drag race mine a couple of times, however i am running with a boost leak so im probably asking for trouble!

boost leak coming from under the plenum i reckon. quite common after the plenum has been removed and not fitted back properly.

didnt even no you had to register... everyone that thought they had a chance of getting on the track or in the paddock was just arriving at the gate and getting directed onto the track. definitely worth the effort for it next time in my opinion. Unless you buy a £1000 bacon sandwich its a free day! And Stu, will definitely let you know next time. I was saying at the time it would have been so much better having another zed there parked near mine. Safety in numbers!
