  1. I love the 99spec front so much, not sure if I prefer the clean nose panel or the panel with the badge on ..... mmm
  2. no wait, it wasn't a leaf.. it was a pixo!!
  3. undecided on the juke.. nissan are making some quirky little things.. I saw a Leaf I think it was called.. it was a tiny little kei car almost..
  4. LOL - like that will be aired in the uk...
  5. That's the beading ...... lol
  6. So basically Sparky, all you want to do is buy a Zed - which you have done.. and make it look Rusty.. and you think that is a good thing? lol.. In reality, you can only Rat the Doors, Boot, some of the roof i.e. the Bars.. front and rear wings of the Z.. so it's going to look like a patchwork quilt.. The Front bumper, the bonnet, the sideskirts, the rear bumper can't be rusted.. also, your spoiler, with yours being a Series 1.. you will have to take that spoiler off and buy a plastic tail light panel to fill the gap, plus get the gaps welded up e.t.c - so it's going to be a costly little venture for you.. things I doubt you considered or researched before you decided to rat look a Z, you probably found it difficult to research.. because it's a dumb idea, also.. I don't believe the rat look to be arty or individual, I think it's for people who want to mod cars on a shoestring without having to put the effort into maintaining a nice car.. My opinion, of course.
  7. The area will most likely be cordoned off by the police when everyone gets there, as was the case when they tried to do one where I live.. Facebook exposes itself for what it really is.. Free voluntary surveilance.
  8. Great Pics Baz! - an yeah Vulcans are immense.. Funnily enough there is a Vulcan at the Aircraft Museum next to Nissan Sunderland.. I remember the bloke who done the tour telling me that they didn't allow anyone to go inside the Vulcan anymore because the Japs at nissan loved it so much that everytime they came to view it, they were stealing buttons e.t.c from the cockpit haha
  9. Wow, some really great bits of kit you got there mate :) - also, on a side note, your alloys are lovely!
  10. I would safely say that the Z's number plate is illegal, on 2 counts. 1. It is skyward facing, when it must be flat on the front facing 2. Stick-ons are illegal (except in the case of the Jag E-Type - where some have them and later ones didnt/dont) I can confirm on my last vehicle I got pulled for having a stuck on plate and I had to remove it as they are not legal, also the fact it was on the top of the front bumper just exactly the same as the one in the Z above, it is defined as Skyward facing. Also, FunkySi is right, my CRX had a JDM tail-garnish recess where I could fit a plate with UK lettering, but as the bootlid hidden approx 1.5cm of the font/lettering on a UK bike plate, I had a clearer plate made at the place I imported the car from.. I drove around 2 years with this plate until one day a cop pulled me, for having 'skyward front plate/Stuck on' on the car, and seen the rear and decided it was illegal too.. I have attached picture of the illegal plate I had at the time - which is a shame considering it was really clear, and a pic of the legal/clearer one.. Fair enough you can read the UK legal one, but when you looked at it directly the top of the lettering was hidden, I dont have any better pics of it either.. and just ignore the tree branch stuck under my mates galant lol..
  11. Think i'll be popping along.. it's on this saturday and sunday stellaz.. check on jne site..
  12. Peter, My idea of a nice Z - Minus the bonnet raise. small wing mirrors, and carrot indicators.. 99 front, Kaminari Sides, Twinz Rear - when 2+2 becomes available. I would have said the 99spec side skirts, but they are like rocking horse shit to get a hold of, so the kaminari is the next best thing IMO. Although it all depends on your own taste in respect to styling, as you may like Veilside kits.. :hang:
  13. good stuff mate!
  14. Random but, is it possible to fit and have the function of the airbag from the series 2 into the series 1? or is there a shed load of wiring and sensors involved which makes it silly?.. just curious if anyone knows.. cheers
  15. Cheers for the advice Stu :) Think i'll be doing the same this coming weekend! - I only have one question about the TPS, if I unplug it to clean it are there any precautions when handling it, as i'm sure the only problem I had with my car was my TPS needed adjusting one time, and I am a little wary as to touching it as I don't want to alter the running of the car... thanks
  16. spiritjb for 3.1.3 - as said.
